There’s a story which may well be apocryphal: at an art exhibition in the 1880s the Russian painter Vasily Vereshchagin took General Helmuth von Moltke (the elder) on a tour of the gallery.
There he led the general in front of his painting, “The Apotheosis of War,” (1871).

When travelling the famous 'Red Arrow' express train from Moscow to Leningrad in the 1960s, Shostakovich would carry a pair of pliers in order to cut the wires of the speaker in his compartment blaring out idiotic patriotic music. A metaphor for us all.

Damn, the way he just can't let this go you'd think he'd invested all his Trump Coins in ".si" domain names to resell or something
Lol even the WSJ's Editorial Board is like "We will go to the friggin' MAT over Cheesecake Factory!" but doesn't say a word in defense of the sitting president
I think it’s mostly lame that MAGA and Fox types are trying to make the Saddam-Cheesecake Factory line into an outrage. But I think it’s hilarious that nearly all of them are offended on behalf of the Cheesecake Factory and not Trump. I haven’t heard anyone defend Trump’s interior design. The logic of their freakout is, “How dare you say the Cheesecake Factory looks like the Trump White House!? The Cheesecake Factory is awesome!”
