During a 2004 live event in El Paso, JBL interrupted Eddie Guerrero celebrating Mother's Day with his mom Mrs. Guerrero ultimately causing her to suffer a kayfabe "heart attack" in the ring. The heat was so severe and real that the local police had to escort JBL out of El Paso in his wrestling gear to prevent a full-blown riot. They warned him to drive straight to Odessa because they feared for his life.
