Before Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Spoke, The Grievances Of The South-East Were Already There. Marginalisation. Insecurity. Political Exclusion. Killings. The Feeling That Igbo Lives And Concerns Did Not Carry The Same Weight. Many Felt It. Few Dared To Say It Loudly Enough For The Country To Hear. Through Radio Biafra And His Public Advocacy, He Forced Those Realities Into Conversations Far Beyond The Region. He Did Not Create The Pain. He Refused To Let It Remain Hidden.
They Call Him Whatever Label Suits Them Because They Still Have No Answer For What He Exposed. Disagreement With His Position Does Not Cancel The Facts On The Ground. Keeping Him In Prison Does Not Resolve The Marginalisation. It Does Not Stop The Insecurity. It Does Not Make The Exclusion Disappear.
It Only Confirms That The State Prefers a Silenced Voice To An Honest Reckoning.
The Questions He Raised Have Not Been Answered. The Conditions He Named Have Not Changed. A Life Sentence Changes None Of That. It Only Proves How Far The System Will Go To Avoid The Conversation He Started.
