STATEMENT FROM JACK CAMPBELL
My family and I want to sincerely thank everyone for the overwhelming amount of love, prayers, and support we’ve received over the past few days. It means more to us than words can express.
I’m incredibly encouraged by the progress I’ve made in such a short period of time. I have full movement in my lower body, and I’m continuing to make progress with movement in my upper body. I know there’s still work ahead, but I remain very optimistic. I’m taking things one day at a time, staying positive, and focusing on getting better.
My faith in God has never been stronger. I know He has a plan for me, and I trust in that plan. I know there may be challenges ahead, but with my faith, my family, and so many people in my corner, I know we’ll get through this.
I especially want to thank the athletic trainers and medical personnel who responded and cared for me on the field. I know those were difficult moments, and I’m incredibly grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and care you showed me. The way you handled everything and looked after me when I needed it most is something I’ll never forget. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I also can’t say enough about the incredible care I’ve received from the medical team at Henry Ford Hospital and the Detroit Lions medical staff. They’ve been amazing to me and my family throughout this process, and I’m truly grateful for everything they’ve done.
To my teammates, coaches, and everyone in the Lions organization, I want you to know how much I love and appreciate you. This team is a family to me, and the way everyone has been there for me means everything. I’m proud to be a Detroit Lion and couldn’t ask to be surrounded by a better group of people.
One thing I’ve learned about Detroit is that this city is built on toughness, resilience, and grit. That’s exactly how I’m going to approach this challenge.
Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers. We feel the love, and I can’t thank everyone enough.
God is good. My faith is strong.

After 20 years @CollegeGameDay returned to Iowa City and it did not disappoint… Thank you for the AMAZING hospitality
Google: “At the start of the 2026 NFL season, Kenneth Walker III had a consensus average draft position (ADP) around 17th to 19th overall, putting him firmly in the late first or early second round as an RB1 / high-end RB2” the so-called Fantasy FF experts are a bunch of idiots.

We’ve been loyal through the heartbreak, the rebuilds, the false hope, the butt-fumble, the blown leads, the coaching disasters and whatever the fuck today is.
We don’t ask for much.
Just give us ONE fucking season where being a #Jets fan doesn’t feel like a prison sentence.

All 6 of Jeremy Hecklinski’s throws vs. Ohio State
Hecklinski entered the game in the 4th Q and led the #Hawkeyes on their only TD drive of the day
Iowa’s backup QB finished a perfect 5/5 for 67 yards, along with a successful 2-pt conversion attempt
He had completions of 15, 18, 9, 8, and 17 yards
Notably, he also averaged an impressively low time to throw (2.11 seconds). The ball was getting out of his hand quickly

I wish I would have heard Steph White say that she needs help on the offensive side of the ball. Her offense is actual trash.
Fever pace was basically the same as what Sides produced & the only difference between '24 & '26 was TS%, which came from personnel & personal improvement from CC & KM. If Steph stays, she needs to evolve into a modern offensive scheme & letting CC run it.

After a dramatic win last night, we couldn't miss @HawkeyeFootball's showdown with Ohio State on Saturday 👏
See you there📍

This is really cool information and really hard to reliably get. Great job on this story and fascinating to find out the wide roster salary disparity, even within the same top conferences.
In the Big Ten, the biggest spender has a payroll about 2.5-3x the lowest. In the NBA last season, highest spending team was about 1.4x lowest spender.
How much did your team spend on its roster?
Our staff @TheAthletic spent months and talked to countless people inside and outside of every Power 4 program in search of the answer.
Here's what we found. Free story: nytimes.com/athletic/interac…
