According to this logic, Michigan is now the new #1 Team in the country because they beat OU, which beat Texas, which beat Ohio State 😂😂😂😂 #goblue
Oklahoma did not have a SINGLE win over a Power 4 program this season.
They just knocked off the #1 team IN THE COUNTRY.
That shows HOW DEEP the SEC is.
ANY team can win on ANY given Saturday.
I love how every Buckeye fan like to call Michigan QBs a bust when they conveniently forget the greatest QB ever in the NFL was a Michigan Man!! The book isn’t over on McCarthy… give it some time.
What was said to Zeke Berry during the final drive of the game that caused him to make such idiotic unsportsmanlike penalty? How immature do you have to be to allow some opposing team players 2 get 2 u like that. That penalty among others lost the game. I hope he learns from it.
Does Michigan have to win out now for a spot in the Playoffs? How will the committee view this loss? Seems like they gave up this game with stupid penalties.
I’m starting to think that OSU fans are gaslighting Michigan fans so much over the last few years of winning as cheating because they have know all along cheating is the only way their program has been able to stay on top so long without a drop off?!!
Facts
Absolutely. I went deep dive on this. There are lots of angles out there, you can stopwatch the play and all sorts of things. There are explanations on why the NBC broadcast slowly diverts from the pregame "sync."
I went into it believing Western Michigan got screwed but after reviewing it all and talking to experts, there was time left. There just was. Michigan deserved the extra play.
The replay protocols were not followed - which is what the MAC protested and the NCAA is saying - but in real life, in the actual stadium, under the actual clock, Michigan won.
Believe whatever you want, doesn't matter to me. In the end this is a game that is always imprecise - spotting the ball, the clock, etc - so expecting it to be precise at the end might be too much. But the facts are the facts here.
In short, the official shouldn’t be watching the game clock on the field, but rather the incorrect clock on the NBC broadcast. How dare they actually care about what the fans in the field see verse what millions of people incorrectly saw on television.
Wow, Buckeye fans. Y’all eat your own.
Ohio State president Ravi Bellamkonda and Columbus mayor Andrew Ginther condemned threats made against the Buckeyes following their loss to Texas: “Not the Ohio way.”
