“Readers aged 13 to 15 are left in a book wasteland”. Fantastic article and great points by @TLT16 on the changes and trends in MG and YA publishing and its impact on reading and libraries. teenlibrariantoolbox.com/202… #SchoolLibraries #Publishing
Seeing all the post from people arriving at and heading to #AASL23 I’m sad I won’t be there in person but it’s still very exciting to be presenting a session on Friday afternoon. I’ll be talking all things digital curation. #SchoolLibraries
Just putting the finishing touches on the ActionBound Scavenger hunts for my Year 6 Library Lessons this term. Students are actively learning and engaging with the space, rather than listening to me drone on or learning via ppt. Chaos? Yes, but the very best kind. #SchoolLibrary
Faced with a return to school with an overwhelming to-do list and a desire to do all the things, I'm changing it up. My goal and focus this term is Promotion and advocating for the school library. Do you have a goal or focus for this term? #SchoolLibraries #Advocacy #Goals

School library staff rock!! Check out these gorgeous photos from Kate and Cheree from Fahan School in Tasmania. They created these amazing book bags and displays for Book Week and kindly allowed me to share these photos.

Putting the final touches on my presentation for the ETL501 students this week. I love connecting with the future of the school library profession. What do you think makes a dynamic school library space?

Excuse me while I happy dance 🕺 Found a LibPath in the @ConcordAU Portal Library on Shogunate Japan, saving me so much time!! Thank you Andrea!!! Easy to download and edit rather than starting from scratch.
I’ve just finished the LibPath on Vietnam War. Just ten more to go! 🤪

Oh totally. Mine were separate but catalogued under graphic novels. We are separating that, so catalogue will say Manga, but the collection is clearly signed and they are getting their own spine label. Then shelved under series title alphabetically. It's also in pride of place.
Honoured to present alongside the fabulous Anne Weaver about Designing Dynamic School Library Experiences at the #ASLA2023 conference. Thank you to everyone who came along to our presentation. #SchoolLibraries
Such a great day to be at the #ASLA2023 Conference today. Opening keynotes by @MKMerga and @leecrockett were inspiring and the perfect start to the day. So many incredible workshops and presentations on offer and it was great to connect with so many school library colleagues.
