Self didn’t. He stayed unapologetic. He kept warning that this is conquest by migration, infrastructure, and political capture, not “enrichment.” And the voters in his district chose the fighter. This is still possible. Texas is not lost. There is still a base that wants leaders who will actually defend the state instead of managing its transformation. Self just proved it. GOP - take the lesson. The easy path is to go quiet and chase votes. The right path is to keep naming the threat and fight it. Voters can still tell the difference. Keith Self never stopped. Texas noticed. Wake up, America. This is the model. Unflinching. Consistent. No apologies for defending the Constitution against a system that rejects it.
