Independent/unsigned artists need that validation. Not making a “list” or winning an award can be devastating to a rapper on the come up

Major label artists who don’t make lists or don’t get awards can always fall back on “I’m rich bitch”

It’s easy to make best rapper lists when discussing major label artists… it’s these gray area independent/unsigned rappers that really are the hardest to rank

Too many rappers spinnin and not spittin… why not do both 🤷🏾‍♂️
