I don't intend to post any pictures of my face, but here's a pretty realistic drawing of myself that I'll keep pinned on my profile so that you guys remember to picture me as very handsome and cool.
I sent someone a recreation of a Bougeureau painting that I had made and my phone asked me if I needed help or something since it thought it was a nude photo and the message stayed there until I went into settings and turned it off. I guess I'm flattered it found it so realistic?
I genuinely think being a hardcore Gabi Braun hater is one of the biggest red flags I've ever encountered talking to anime and manga fans online. The amount of sheer vitriol I've seen directed towards a fictional 12 year old is genuinely disturbing.

When I said the most arab coded princess is actually rapunzel and not the orientalist mess that is jasmine...
Oh no dude I’ve been procrastinating making these horns. Hopefully it’s not too difficult since Kankri’s are so small. I also need to practice the makeup a bit. I hope I’m prepared by Halloween. I think I should be but I’m a little nervous about how soon it is.

Sometimes I forget that nobody else pronounces certain Homestuck names in the weird way I do, like Terezi and Kanaya. I like my pronunciations better though so I'm too stubborn to change them.
My absolute favourite moment is probably the John and Vriska date in the dream bubbles.
But in the same vein as these screenshots I think this single line from Dirk takes the cake
Just so funny
It's still so crazy to me that the scene of Karkat very transparently trying to unfairly monopolize as much of Terezi's time as he could is interpreted by his fans as him being "non-quadrant"
Maybe by now hes been flanderized into that, but it was so clearly him being possessive

teasing remark made to a former classmate and close friend and an insensitive comment made out of miseducation that was immediately met with apology when called out means you fall into the same behaviors as conservatives like the zenins who treat women like male sorcerer printers
I've said this before, but the Chimptopia characters are so obviously based on some real friend group.
If I was this guy, I really just would not take this level of disrespect 😂 They literally made him look like a baby
Replying to @Waffleveryday4
if you told a random person this was the same character they would go fucking apeshit and start slinging sledgehammers at windows
I've said this before but the answer is actually obvious. It's the sunk cost fallacy.
They mistakenly think that studying the fundamentals is admitting that what they've been doing is a waste of time, and they're scared of that, so they avoid it.
The truth is that they're wrong.
The practice they've put in will still be valuable and they won't be magically forgetting everything they've learned and starting from scratch just because they've decided to revisit the basics and reinforce their understanding of them. People need to realize this.
Helluva Boss is a cartoon. Loona racking the gun a second time adds anticipation to the action of the gun firing, which is an important principle of animation. It's not perfect but it does its job fine and "knowing about guns" should be the last priority of these animators.
People are trying to offer diegetic explanations of "maybe it was unloaded" or something, but the answer is that she is a cartoon who did something unrealistic because it improved the way the action read to the viewer. It's really that simple.
