What does this mean for risk scores? HEART & EDACS included risk factors based on expert opinion, although they weren't predictive in the EDACS cohort either.
Maybe demographics & practices are changing, & maybe other prediction models could be refined & improved as a result

The bottom line - last time, only 'smoking' made AMI more likely.
This time, we found that risk factors *do* affect the probability of AMI, although not by much. You certainly still can't 'rule out' AMI in a pt with no risk factors
