Time to raise the ceilings.
Pass the baton.
Some of the best callers on the Pumpfun app rarely touch microcaps
Diamond, the latest algorithm addition in Callout Rewards, aims to reward traders of higher market cap coins, higher quality coins, and those who hold good tokens for sustained periods.
Although the truth is, there is no such thing as a perfect callout.
Callouts on low market cap coins can achieve the 1000x's our ecosystem is known for, but they're volatile and not suitable for everybody.
On the other hand, higher market cap callouts are the ones that create massive wealth effects for thousands of people at once - the exact runs which we want to see more of.
The overarching goal of Callout Rewards is to reward ANYONE who brings good plays to their followers.
So, in order to reward both types of callers, the Diamond algorithm will continue to iterate with a huge emphasis on QUALITY.
If you're a whale, EVM or perps trader, come over to the Pumpfun app and let us reward you for what you do every single day.
Much more to come.

When onchain starts to become shit
You often see an usual pattern.
1) you see few people starting to change their trading style. -> farm dev / farm callout
2) you see "genius people" starting to "complain" / tweet what's wrong with the market
3) everyone start to fud everyone.
4) people start to understand community coins bring conviction => bring hope => Bring higher ceiling
=> Here we go for new onchain activity.
solana:Hg5Ja55T5wESq4vyFoiVCMeHXtGyVA69X2UHq8hgpump is showing crazy strength and more and more people are starting to join the ride.
Very bullish on baton PA and goal will be to accumulate more and more.
i think the timeline has become too negative and has lost hope.
maybe thatβs exactly what we need to finally form a bottom for onchain.
yes, it feels ugly. yes, the sentiment is almost doomsday. people are exhausted, traders are frustrated, communities are losing conviction and everyone seems convinced the best days are behind us.
but bottoms rarely feel like attractive opportunities when youβre living through them. the time to be scared was several months ago when everyone was too bullish and you could see people with crazy PNLs on social trading apps.

think pump is so caught up trying to get people to trade more that theyβre overlooking a much bigger problem with how theyβre growing the app
they keep rolling out products for completely different markets but somehow the marketing budget is still going toward getting the same trench degens to trade more low cap garbage lol
u launch pokemon cards? go recruit the biggest collectors. multichain trading? bring in the giga brains from those chains. perps? go get the guys who actually trade perps
these ppl have spent years building audiences around their own interests, position sizes and trading habits.. yet weβre treating the entire market like everyone wants to refresh new pairs all day for lunch money
and the funny part is pumpβs own revenue model makes this even more confusing.. the app collects fees on volume, so a guy trading with actual size can be worth more than hundreds of small trades
if ur already paying KOLs, why not use that money to build a social graph around every new market u enter and see which audiences actually bring capital, generate revenue and stick around?
otherwise how do u even know a product failed when u never bothered getting it in front of the people who would actually use it?
ur basically building new departments in a shopping mall while paying all ur advertisers to bring more people into the same shitty store
pump already has a shot at becoming the discovery engine for all of crypto.. but u cant keep expanding the products while leaving the social graph stuck in the trenches
the goal shouldnβt be getting the same people to trade everything.. it should be getting every type of trader to find something worth trading here

BATON army assemble.
Letβs win π«‘
Call me crazy but I still firmly believe BATONARMY can win the @Pumpfun squads competition.
Brutal market wide drawdown, crazy capitulation, yet community and belief are at ATH.
Common belief = infinite upside.
Letβs show what a bunch of delusional holders can achieve together!
(PUMP is also looking incredible here, pay attention)

i genuinely think custom pairs could be one of the biggest structural shifts for the trenches. that's the reason I'm working so much on BATON, as i believe it will showcase how it will work.
PUMP <> BATON <-> BATON BETAS
the reason our community is so strong and u keep seeing so many raiders is bcs we embraced baton betas sub-communities. we r trying to build ecosystem organically without pushing artificially these betas.
imagine new launches being built around established meme communities of @Pumpfun instead of every new coin competing for the same fragmented pool of SOL liquidity.
and i donβt think this should be exclusive to $BATON. $neet, $TROLL $ANSEM and other strong community brands should be part of it.
think about the flywheel:
more launches bring new traders and activity into existing ecosystems. successful betas strengthen their parent communities. stronger communities attract more builders, liquidity and new participants.
and with PUMP as the common denominator, this can benefit the wider ecosystem too.
the opportunity is about creating interconnected economies where new launches have an existing community to build around, and established communities have a reason to keep growing.

Iβm not even in baton and I fw this message 100%. Follow Anna if you arenβt already!
since my account now blowing up, i use this opportunity to talk about BATON cto.
i want to go back to my original CTO post, where i said i like challenging the system.
i see so much hate about the state of crypto. people complain about the crime meta, insider games,, KOLs farming their followers, and how difficult it is for ordinary people to win.
but how many are actually trying to change something instead of just complaining about it?
when i found $BATON, i saw a giga opportunity.
the coin was holding the $1m levels without a CTO, without someone actively coordinating the community. that was a huge signal for me. it meant there was already organic demand, conviction and belief.
at the same time, as someone whoβs spent years frontrunning narratives and market shifts, i was noticing something else.
the crime meta was starting to lose its edge. (and yes, i still believe this transition is happening.)
people were getting tired of the same old game. the market needed something different: belief, communities, actual reasons to hold and people willing to build together.
in my experience, these are exactly the periods when major meta shifts happen. when the old playbook stops working and new opportunities emerge.
i decided to put my conviction behind one of them.
and no, iβm not mother theresa. iβm not doing this out of charity. i like winning. i like making money. iβm competitive as hell.
but i also find it much more interesting to win while helping hundreds of ordinary people win alongside me than to make money by playing a zero-sum game against everyone else.
iβve always believed thereβs a different way to play this market.
PvE over PvP.
not everyone needs to be someone elseβs exit liquidity. communities can create value, grow together and challenge the existing game.
I belive BATON will help remind trenches how it should be done the right way.
