Habib calls MKP and EFF destructive, then warns that any alliance with them proves you don’t love South Africa. That’s not a political position that’s a RACIAL SLUR with a thesaurus(swap one word for another that means the same thing) He’s not worried about corruption; he’s worried that the wrong people got to vote. Millions of Black South Africans chose those parties, and his answer isn’t to persuade them, it’s to disqualify them. That’s the oldest trick in the book: when you can’t beat the electorate, call the electorate the disease. What a RACIST Man Adam Habib is!…..he needs to be isolated by the business and academia.

What I find amusing about this engagement is that:
1. Julius Malema never called the journalist useless nor did he call him stupid. This is where listening attentively comes in which Redi obviously didn’t bother to do before giving us her 2 cents;
2. She’s telling Gardee to remove his ass from the backside of his leader as if Gardee is not the DEPUTY PRESIDENT of the EFF;
3. Gardee says that it’s stupidity as a journalist to not have a sense of occasion & Redi calls Gardee stupid & foolish but when she started this conversation she said: “Why are you guys so crass? Why are insults your default reaction?”, interesting;
4. She wants the EFF to appreciate the fact that a journalist can ask ANY question but she can’t appreciate that EQUALLY, the journalist can get any answer.
5. She wants a politician to be diplomatic with his answers when journalists are personal with their questions, interesting.
This is my problem with some journalists in South Africa. They help to drive certain narratives against the EFF & when the EFF responds in kind then the EFF is the problem. If as a journalist you have a conviction to being controversial, don’t frown upon being met where you are with your controversy.
Now, it’s either people want to be journalists or conspiracy theorists but where they choose to be conspiracy theorists, they will get answers that debunk their theories & those answers will never be polite.
Alpha must go and ask Fikile Mbalula about VBS, Phala Phala, the GNU govt and the Madlanga Commission being a contributing factor to their loss of votes & maybe then his stupid questions will be dignified with proper answers in the future.

The right time and space to ask a question is when the person is right in front of you. A good journalist has no obligation to stick to the theme of YOUR occasion. He must ask what his audience deems to be in the public interest. "Sense of occasion?" Which journalism module taught you that? Get your head out of your leader's backside.

I want our leaders to respond in exactly this manner to questions that are meant to drive a narrative because we are tired.
None of them have dared gone to an ANC presser and asked “Don’t you think the reason you may be losing votes is because Andrea Johnson was appointed by your president as the head of IDAC”
They always do this and then want to weaponise Malema’s answers. It’s tiring.

1. In 2024 MKP got 14%.
In 2026 they dropped to 9%.
2. ATM has completely vanished.
3. Floyd's party is dead on arrival.

Don’t defend nonsense bafanas. Journalists are not beyond reproach. If they’re out of order, they must be called out.
There was a journalist who committed electoral fraud in 2019 and was defended by SANEF because they this misguided idea that press freedom means immunity from accountability.
We are not going to molly-coddle journalists that perpetuate nonsensical narratives.

These journalists always have a tone of rudeness when it comes to addressing Malema.
