To check your ledger nano X for an implant is really really easy and I recommend you do it for peace of mind.
1. take off the lid. Then, using a sharp object like a knife, pry open the case. It comes off super easy once you get it in.
2. open the case. You dont need to fully disassemble the device.
3. check that the display is connected to the mainboard directly like this, without anything else connected between the mainboard and the display
4. check behind the display. There should be nothing but the main board.
The images show a clean board, the way it should look like. Be aware that different generations pf the same product can look differently.
The known attacks target a weakness that exploits a security boundary between main board and display. So really this is all you need to check. Take a peak behind the mainboard too, there should only be the battery.
To put it back together put the buttons in the case first, then just squeeze it back together and it should be just like before.
Be careful not to hurt yourself or the delicate electronics when using a sharp object and make sure to ground yourself before working on the device (touch a heater for example)

Bitcoin, Ethereum ve Tron ağlarında yüzlerce cüzdan eş zamanlı boşaltıldı.
Tron ağındaki 25 cüzdanda transfer onayları yalnızca 3 saniyelik aralıklarla gerçekleşti.
Toplam zarar 86–92 milyon dolar bandında.
Tek bir cüzdanda 5,3 milyon dolar kaybeden bir mağdurun ifadesi durumu özetliyor: "Her şeyi kuralına göre yaptım. Kaldıraç yok, meme coin yok. Söylendiği gibi varlığımı soğuk cüzdana çektim."

❌ Pour moi, c'est terminé. Je raccroche les hardware wallets.
Et ça me fait mal de l'écrire. Pendant des années, c'était LE conseil. "Not your keys, not your coins." Achète un Ledger, range ta seed, dors tranquille. Je l'ai répété moi-même.
Ce qu'on a trouvé dans des Nano X vendus neufs, sous blister intact :
1️⃣ Une deuxième carte cachée derrière l'écran, à la place du coussinet
2️⃣ Une batterie remplacée par une plus petite pour faire de la place
3️⃣ Une puce, une antenne, une eSIM et un modem 4G
L'implant ne touche pas la puce sécurisée. Il lit l'écran au moment où ta phrase de récupération s'affiche, puis il l'envoie. Le "Genuine Check" reste au vert.
Ledger a confirmé un implant dans l'appareil d'une victime. Plus de 70 millions de dollars auraient été vidés chez des clients d'un revendeur officiel en Asie du Sud-Est.
🚨 Et ça ne resterait pas en Asie. Un acheteur affirme avoir trouvé des câbles en trop dans un Ledger acheté en magasin, chez un revendeur officiel européen. Selon Mark Karpelès (ex-patron de Mt. Gox), l'antenne porterait une étiquette "version eurasienne". Il pourrait donc y en avoir d'autres en circulation.
📍 Et le plus beau : la réponse officielle. Leurs systèmes ne sont pas compromis et il faut acheter chez le fabricant ou chez un revendeur agréé.
Et devinez quoi ? Le revendeur était agréé.
⚫ Rien ne prouve que tous les Ledger soient piégés. Mais c'est justement le problème : tu ne peux plus le prouver toi-même. Tout le trajet entre l'usine et ton salon est une boîte noire.
Le hardware wallet n'avait qu'une seule promesse : ne faire confiance à personne. Aujourd'hui, il faut faire confiance à l'usine, au transporteur, au revendeur, au magasin… et à un tournevis.
🚩Je pense que cette industrie n'a plus d'avenir. Pas parce que la puce est mauvaise. Parce que la confiance ne se répare pas avec un firmware.

🚨 Incidente de seguridad de Ledger 🚨
Al parecer, algunos Ledger (Nano X pero pueden ser más modelos) comprados en el sudeste asiático al proveedor CryptoBills sufrieron un ataque de supply chain: en algún momento se les implantó un chip dentro del ledger que monitorea y graba lo que se ve en la pantalla del mismo (la seed phrase) y luego lo transmite a un atacante. Al atacar la capa de hardware NO tiene necesidad de modificar el firmware, por lo cual Ledger Wallet lo toma como válido al hacer el genuine check.
Si compraron Ledgers en el sudeste asiático, muevan sus activos urgente.

Following an investigation into an infrastructure compromise, MetaMask Staking (ex Consensys Staking) has taken precautionary steps to protect client assets related to its operated Ethereum validators.
These steps include exiting its Ethereum (ETH) validators in the Lido protocol, and will likely incur foregone rewards as well as possible downtime penalties should validators be taken offline in the near future to reduce risks related to potential network penalties. Relevant validators have begun the exit process, with the final validators expected to be exited (but not fully withdrawn) by the end of October 7th, 2026.
No action is required from stETH holders. ETH exited from MetaMask Staking-operated validators is expected to return to the protocol gradually as the relevant validators complete the exit, withdrawal, and re-entry cycle, which is estimated to take approximately up to 45 days due to the extended entry queue. As a reminder, staking operations are non-custodial in nature and MetaMask does not manage withdrawal keys for staking on behalf of clients.
As always, the Lido Protocol’s diverse Node Operator set and other security systems including the ad hoc reserve fund (of over 6,750 stETH), are designed to contain and mitigate disruptions to the normal operations of the protocol, in addition to other potential routes.

We've rolled out enhanced bitcoin security scoring across the platform. This is NOT a KYC/AML process.
What changed is technical:
Incoming bitcoin is now checked for serious red flags before a contract settles.
If a bitcoin comes back with a genuinely bad score, we won't let that contract go through. No one wants to end up holding coins they can't move or cash out later - that's the scenario we're closing off.
Most trades are unaffected. This only stops the rare, clearly problematic cases - and it protects both sides of every trade. We'll keep refining this to keep the platform safe without changing what makes it work.

Status report on unauthorized asset transfers in the DCENT App Wallet
We recognize the serious concern this issue has caused. This report is based on the facts confirmed as of September 17, 2026.
The latest DCENT app includes a check to help determine whether action may be required. Please update the app to the latest version and run the check.
POTENTIAL SCOPE OF IMPACT
Based on our technical analysis to date, the primary criteria for potential impact are:
· The recovery phrase was at some point entered into the DCENT App Wallet
· That address has a history of sending (signing) — including token and NFT transfers, token approvals, and dApp transactions
· The signing took place on an app version below 8.1.0 (released 2025-11-05)
· The address is on Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRPL, TRON, an EVM-based network, or another potentially affected chain
The version used at the time of signing is what matters. Receive-only addresses have relatively lower potential impact, but this does not mean all risk is excluded. Unauthorized transactions were first observed on Android; however, the same potential impact applies to iOS.
HARDWARE WALLETS
Connecting your hardware wallet to the app is not affected. Your wallet key stays on the device and is not passed to the app.
This report concerns recovery phrases that were entered into the App Wallet. If a hardware wallet's recovery phrase was ever entered into the App Wallet, please check whether action is required — this applies regardless of whether the recovery phrase was originally created using the App Wallet or a hardware wallet.
WHAT TO DO
If the in-app check indicates that action is required:
1. Update the DCENT app to the latest version through an official app store before moving any assets.
2. Create a new wallet using a completely new recovery phrase. Do not restore or reuse the existing recovery phrase.
3. Move your assets to the new address, including tokens, NFTs, staked assets, and token approval permissions.
4. Do not reuse the existing address for deposits, signing, approvals, or any other purpose.
ONGOING RESPONSE
The matter has been reported to and accepted by Korean law enforcement authorities. DCENT has established a hotline with law enforcement and begun tracing stolen funds with an external security team.
We are also working with exchanges, relevant authorities, and on-chain analytics specialists to trace and pursue the freezing of assets suspected of being stolen.
Whether and when assets can be frozen or recovered depends on actions by authorities and third parties, subsequent blockchain activity, and the outcome of the investigation.

We are aware of a security incident on @Liquid_BTC. Purported white-hat hackers have withdrawn ~4,000 BTC (~$320 million) from the Liquid Federation wallet. The @Blockstream team is working on contacting them on-chain with a signed message.
What we know so far is that the funds were withdrawn via the SideSwap PAK (Peg-out Authorization Key), but that key was not compromised, nor were any others.
Exchanges have been notified and have already paused (or will pause) LBTC deposits and withdrawals. Other Liquid assets such as USDT, DePix, and RWAs are unaffected by this security incident.
Bridge nodes have been temporarily disabled, so no new transactions can be submitted to the network. Effectively, the Liquid sidechain is paused until this issue is resolved.
Liquid wallets will be impacted, and we're sorry for any inconvenience. Federation members are actively working on resolving this so we can restore normal network activity.
