A Prayer for All Souls’ Day
In Thanksgiving for Those We Have Loved
Heavenly Father,
On this sacred day, we pause in gratitude and remembrance for all those who have walked beside us in this life, whose earthly journey has ended, but whose presence continues to live within our hearts.
Thank You, Lord, for the beautiful gift of their lives. For the love they shared, the wisdom they offered, the laughter they brought, and the countless ways they touched our souls. Thank You for the memories that remain, the lessons they left behind, and the pieces of themselves that have become part of who we are.
We are grateful for the ordinary moments that became extraordinary, for the hands that held ours, the words that comforted us, and the love that continues to surround us even in their absence.
Today, we entrust them to Your eternal embrace. May the light of Your mercy shine upon them, and may they rest in the peace and joy of Your heavenly kingdom.
And for those of us who remain, help us to carry their gifts forward. May we love more deeply, live more generously, and cherish each day with the understanding that every life is a blessing and every soul leaves an imprint that time cannot erase.
Until we meet again in the fullness of Your glory, may the love we shared be a sacred bond between heaven and earth.
We remember them with love, we give thanks for them with grateful hearts, and we hold them forever in the beautiful story of our lives.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

You know what's more expensive than $4 a gallon gas?
Paying student loans I never took out.
Paying for free food for someone that shouldn't even be here.
Paying healthcare for people that jumped the border.
Paying for infrastructure in a country I've never been to.
Paying for military protection for people that hate us.
Paying the salary of politicians trying to destroy this country.
Paying judge’s salary that no longer support justice.
These things are costing me a hell of a lot more than a gallon of gas…

Can someone please take a look at what Rob Zvonar and staff built at Lincoln-Way East.
Put down your private vs public schools swords and look at this public school program.
Think about the private competition in its backyard: Providence, Marian Catholic, Brother Rice, Marist, St. Laurence, St. Rita and Mount Carmel.
All working to attract kids and families to their campuses.
Remember, Zvonar and staff took over a new school in 2001 and then watched the district expand to four schools a few years later to slice the talent pool even more.
Think about that. And then think about how kids from that district had transferred to other public schools in the past (Zak Kustok and others).
Despite all those challenges, Zvonar and his staff built Lincoln-Way East into a destination.
How? By building a brand, not just coaching football. They built a brand.
Rob Glielmi will always be known for turning around football at Lincoln-Way, but what Z and his staff did even more was invest in human relationships.
Youth football programs. Summer camps. Clinics. Open houses. Youth nights. Community engagement.
They connected with kids and families years before those kids ever stepped onto a high school football field.
They didn’t just develop football players. They developed a program, a culture, a reputation and a sense of belonging.
That’s called building a brand.
And far too many high school coaches don't understand it.
Look at Batavia. Generations of kids have grown up dreaming about playing under those Friday night lights.
Why? Because the program created something bigger than football.
Community pride. Tradition. Relationships.
An experience kids want to be part of and that’s where many private schools dominate public schools before a child ever selects a school.
Here’s what some coaches and school administrators need to understand: You’re owed nothing.
A family’s zip code doesn’t automatically earn you its loyalty. Kids and families want great educational opportunities, great experiences, great coaching and opportunities beyond high school.
And they’re going to make decisions based on what’s best for them.
Instead of complaining when a family chooses another school, ask yourself a better question: What is that school doing to attract kids and families that we’re not?
Stop blaming private schools. Stop making excuses. Start building something kids and families want to be part of.
Kids need more experiences, not more games. They play 8 million these days.
Great programs don’t just play and win games, they build brands to win the trust of families and communities.
I keep telling you…it’s #MoreThanJUSTGames.

🚨 Illinois voters clearly DO NOT realize the extent to which they have been taxed and increase in fees over the last 7 years. They truly don’t. ✅
And…Many have had natural tax & fee yearly “increase escalators” built into the!ordinances, so the politicians never have to take the vote on the increase of those tax and fees again❗️
that’s the FACTS folks…🤷🏻♂️

Thank you to NCTV for covering our beautiful No Kings trucks which we paraded by most of the rallies today. We have gone from King Madigan to King Pritzker. The results of their leadership have been ruinous on every level. Vote early and vote Republican! A link to NCTVs coverage below.

Highest combined state and local taxes in the nation.
Worst fiscal instability in the nation.

We are going the wrong way quickly.

$6 B in long term costs to Illinoisans across the state. Tax hikes.
That’s what 85 local referendums on ballots on Nov. 3 will ask you to agree to.
We highlight the 6 biggest ballot questions, starting with CUSD 300 in Algonquin, at $355 million.
Most taxpayers have no idea about these referendums.

Halfway through her pregnancy, a young mother learned the baby boy growing inside her would not survive outside her womb.
She carried him for another four months knowing that for as long as he remained inside her, she could keep him safe.
Peter James Raridon was born September 11th.
His mom Anna and dad Eli, a rookie tight end for the New England Patriots, learned during their 20-week anatomy scan that Peter had anencephaly, a fatal condition affecting development of the brain and skull.
Instead of preparing to bring their first baby home, they spent the remainder of the pregnancy loving him while knowing their time together would likely be painfully short.
Anna says she is grateful she got to love Peter, protect him and be his home for nine months.
Then she wrote the words that absolutely broke my heart:
“I have loved you every second of your life & will miss you every second of mine.”
Anna and Eli are leaning heavily on their faith, believing their son’s life had meaning regardless of how brief it was and that their goodbye is not forever.
One of the images they shared shows Peter’s tiny footprints inside a Bible.
A reminder that this little boy was here, he was deeply loved, and he will always be their son.
Please pray for these young parents and for every mother and father who understands the heartbreak of loving a baby they never got to bring home.
A reporter tried to humiliate Charlie Munger on live television by asking why a billionaire like him was still so much poorer than Warren Buffett. Munger answered with one calm question that made the reporter, and the entire way we keep score, look foolish.
He did not get defensive. Buffett got an earlier start, he said. He is probably a little smarter, and he worked harder.
Then came the line that ended the conversation. Why, Munger asked, was Albert Einstein poorer than I was?
Sit with that. The man who rewired physics died with almost nothing. By the only scoreboard the reporter cared about, Einstein was a failure and a hedge fund manager is a god.
Net worth measures one thing, and it is not intelligence. It is not contribution. It is not a life well lived. It is just money, the narrowest ruler you can ever hold a human being against.
Munger spent ninety nine years refusing to play that game. He wanted enough to be independent, and after that he measured himself by his thinking, not his bank balance.
Most people do the reverse. They rank themselves and everyone around them by a single number, then wonder why more of it never feels like enough.
The clip is under thirty seconds, free, from the sharpest old man who ever sat for an interview. Almost nobody catches what he actually did to that question.

It started as a deliberate hate crime to a White schoolteacher on a bus being stabbed 5 times, continued on to 3 additional crimes & victims. He walked on the bus without paying
Of course he has many priors. The police didn’t share the crimes
NO Chicago media has reported yet👇
A CPS teacher was riding the bus home from work when this guy stood up and plunged a knife into his neck and back five times, prosecutors say.
He ran away, stole a car, and crashed near Lori Lightfoot’s house.
Somehow, the media never reported this...

This is fake news at its finest.
First off, we’re not ‘banning’ any program. The federal government doesn’t set curriculum or programs.
Here’s the truth: we are holding colleges accountable for leaving students worse off than if they never enrolled. Too many graduates report delaying major life milestones like buying a home or starting a family. Why? Because low return-on-investment programs saddled them with unmanageable debt that was never going to translate into a real-world job.
Federal student loans are not a welfare program for failing college programs. American students deserve education and training pathways that prepare them for the workforce – and transparency about programs that will never pay off.
Trump is banning students majoring in degrees that don’t make enough money from taking out college loans. Degrees for social work, art, religious studies, teaching aides, and music will be hit the hardest. trib.al/NmmAzhf

NO, I’M DIFFERENT.
I’m ending Chicago’s sanctuary city policies, and I’m implementing an independent forensic audit of city government.
And YES, I’m going to hold a press conference every time we uncover waste, fraud, or abuse. If that means holding a press conference every day, then so be it.
Taxpayers deserve to know where their money went, how it was spent, and who was responsible for it.
NO MORE HIDING THE MONEY. NO MORE BUSINESS AS USUAL.
We will bring the facts to the public, demand accountability, and refer evidence of wrongdoing to the appropriate authorities.
