It’s official, Manchester City has signed Cavan Sullivan for 37th time.
A World Record!!! 🤯
17-year-old USMNT and Philadelphia Union attacking midfielder Cavan Sullivan’s planned move to Manchester City is reportedly now considered a “DONE DEAL,” with his arrival scheduled for January 2028 🇺🇸👀
Sullivan remains committed to City Football Group despite interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid.
CFG has also discussed backup plans with his representatives if City’s financial case complicates the move — including a potential loan to another CFG club or a suitable team elsewhere to keep his development on track.

Over the next 12-18 months we will see many USMNT 🇺🇸 prospects make the jump from MLS to top European leagues… but picking the right club and league is crucial as development can be very tricky.
So where should they ACTUALLY go?!?

Camp cupcake should essentially be a USMNT 🇺🇸 U-23 camp, with the gks being the exception.
I think this roster will be prospect heavy, over half of it to face Jamaica 🇯🇲 and I am looking forward to it.

Balogun closed last season in crazy good form and we saw that with the USMNT 🇺🇸 during the World Cup.
His stock was high this summer and then came the failed Everton transfer…
He is now the 3rd option at Monaco and probably won’t see his minutes go up until he leaves…
Gio Reyna coming “back to life” for club and country is the best thing that could have happen for the USMNT 🇺🇸 to start this cycle.
Once our top prospect to being labelled a flop.
He is now performing very well in France and was the top performer for the 🇺🇸 last camp.
He is still 23 years old!
Dortmund tied at 0-0 with 20 minutes to go and the sub in Mathis Albert, the 17 year old USMNT 🇺🇸 winger.
The tides may be turning, his minutes might start to trend up.
Cavan Sullivan post World Cup:
For Philly:
. 13 MLS games… 11 wins 2 draws
. Cavan scored 7 goals and got 7 assists, averaging over 1 goal contribution per 90.
. Leads MLS in successful dribbles per 90
For the USMNT 🇺🇸:
. 3 games, 3 wins
. 1 goal vs 🇲🇽
. Youngest player to ever score for the USMNT
Wasn’t this common knowledge?
Gianni Infantino fixed US World Cup star Balogun's red card after call with POTUS: FIFA sources trib.al/GJzx1D6
Pochettino called up 12 USMNT 🇺🇸 prospects for the Sep/October camp, now the question is which ones will make it to the November camp?
All that were called in:
. D. Kochen
. F. Westfield
. N. Pierre
. P. Miller
. C. Sullivan
. Z. Gozo
. B. Raines
. A. Mehmeti
. C. Campbell
. M. Albert
. J. Hall
. J. Ellis
“The face of the USMNT 🇺🇸”
When it comes to big picture, none of this matters.
For me, Malik Tillman should be the face of the U.S. National Team. No debate. But wait, I forgot… he wasn’t born in America.
Enough with the politics. Let’s talk about football!
I represented this country for seven years. I’ve seen things, heard things, and experienced things firsthand. So when I speak about what needs to change in American soccer, I’m speaking from experience, not from the outside looking in.
And I will continue to speak about what I believe needs to change for the betterment of the game in this country.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again:
In Europe, you have to BECOME a star. In America, they MAKE you a star.
There’s a big difference.
It’s time we put football first. Let the performances on the pitch do the talking.
It’s becoming a mental illness.
🚨🗣️ 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Cristiano Ronaldo declares himself the GREATEST PLAYER OF ALL TIME and hits back at the obsession with his 1,000-goal milestone!
“People aren’t appreciating what I’m doing RIGHT NOW. They’re more concerned with how many goals I have left to reach 1,000.”
“I DON’T LIKE THAT. Things have to happen naturally. Whether I score 920, 925 or 930 goals…”
“I’m the GREATEST IN HISTORY. PERIOD. When it comes to scoring goals, the numbers speak for themselves.”
“I’m not going to say I HAVE to reach 1,000 goals. If I get there, fantastic.”
Matt Freese made a mistake like this twice with the USMNT 🇺🇸 in the past 12-18 month.
1 being in the World Cup.
So that’s 3 times that I have seen, it’s not bad luck or just a mistake…
At some point people will have to stop saying:
“This USMNT 🇺🇸 player was developed in MLS”
Seriously, give credit where it’s due which is to the specific teams that do a good job… not the entire league where most teams develop literally zero players USMNT players.

If I were to ask you who is the most corrupt president in FIFA’s history…what would be your answer?
Well, here is my answer to that question in a whole video detailing the history of how João Havelange made FIFA into what it is today.
