📣📣 HAY DRIVE 📣📣
Hay has skyrocketed! While our horses each have a unique story, they all have one thing in common: THEY CAN EAT! 😆
If you can help us with our upcoming hay bills, we’d be forever grateful!

Speed Mail got his new halter and he’s showing it off for you. 🤩
He was a Mane Character the minute he stepped off the trailer, but now he’s official!

Arguably one of the most entertaining aspects of morning training at Keeneland…watching a skunk - who we’ve now named “Stu” - cross the training track as Breeders’ Cup contenders made their way on 🤣
TOT, brought to you by the dashing Ricky. 🥰

Please help me wish a Very Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter @acacia_clement♥️you’re hardworking kind and as beautiful inside as you are outside. I’m so proud of all your dedicated work with @racingforhome and your love of all animals. Love you to the moon and back 🌟🥰
Here’s one of Spirit Seeker’s progeny: Incredible Flex. He and Spirit once stood at this farm. What a beauty, like his dad. 🤩
Spirit had many owners after, but he did sire 59 foals (registered).
In the off chance that anyone out there knows of a progeny, please let us know.

Speedy (Speed Mail) is looking good! He’s such a nice horse, a people-horse, who is so deserving of his life.
We adore him 💕

Ruby (Flushing High) and
Midnight Jewel, our two STB beauties happily living together as best bonded friends.
Both of these precious girls were in the slaughter pipeline. They’re home, safe and cherished here.

Breeders' Cup Sprint contender ENGLISHMAN worked at Keeneland early this morning.
Per DRF's Mike Welsch, the Cherie DeVaux trainee went four furlongs in 24.51, 47.29 "finishing powerfully to and through wire without any encouragement."

SEATTLE SLEW came around before the Breeders' Cup, but he sure did make his mark later on, through descendants that include A.P. Indy (son) and Tapit (grandson)...and more...and more.

KRIS S. didn't race in the Breeders' Cup; he was born in 1977 and retired in 1980.
He sired Breeders' Cup winners Prized (1989 Turf), Hollywood Wildcat (1993 Distaff), Brocco (1993 Juvenile), and Soaring Softly (1999 Filly & Mare Turf).

You know who's cool? MILWAUKEE BREW is cool! Now 29, the 2x Santa Anita Handicap winner hangs out at Old Friends with his mini-donkey bud Gorgeous George, hoping passersby will bring him treats. Or back scratches....he loves those.
Random side note: GO, MILWAUKEE BREWERS! ⚾️🍻
Dana, the daughter of Into Mischief and Silver Tap, the son of Tapit discussing who’s the greatest sire? Hmmmmm…
Into Mischief?
Tapit?
Dana is the dam of a few of our homebreds. She’s the original Queen of the Farm. All the mares are seriously intrigued with Silver Tap. 😊
