All-NBA center Jalen Duren is not attending Detroit Pistons media day Monday nor the start of training camp, declining the team’s five-year, $200 million fully guaranteed offer in restricted free agency so far, sources tell ESPN. The sides remain at a stalemate ahead of Thursday deadline on a one-year, $9.6 million qualifying offer.

Honestly though, AD is gonna eat on the Mavs. Crazy people speaking on him like he’s a throw in
21
Now all the Mavs are missing as a generational guard like Luka and they’ll have a real shot!

This is like if Bron would’ve come to LA instead of that 2nd stint with the Cavs.

Literally in shock. This can’t be real

1/26/2020 it all changed. While vibe switched up. Thought them winning it in the bubble was the start of something wild. FO fumbled heavy every offseason and deadline. Watching these Lakers are a chore. Used to be an escape. I put in my 8, they give me 48. That was the deal.

I know OG Lakers fans are ready for the LeBron era to end, but honestly, he’s still pretty productive. It’s the AD era I’m exhausted of. His game is frustrating to watch. A whole waste of talent. Thanks for the bubble chip, I guess. Next.

If the sports gods required we sacrifice the Lakers for a Dodgers championship, so be it, the Lakers/LeBron co-op has run its course. It’s time to move on.

Don’t believe the hype.

FIBA hoops is far and away a better watch than NBA. Why @nba hasn’t adopted most of these rules is beyond me. I Stan.

Mookie - RF Ohtani - DH Freeman - 1B Smith - C Teoscar - LF Edman - 3B Kiermaier - CF Lux - 2B Rojas - SS Cuz they’re going to platoon RF if Betts is at 2B with Pages and Hey.

They all think we’re stupid. Reducing our opinions to race and gender as though we’re incapable of rational thoughts outside the weight of those 2 factors is diabolical work.

Lakers offseason takeaway: - Everyone that had a choice to return, returned. Some even took a little less to play for JJ. - Bron willing to take less is dope. Might be disingenuous to think top level talent would be willing to do the same.

- Did I want roster improvement? Of course. Especially with OKC and PHI improving. If we’re honest, how many of those types of guys were actually available. Not hypothetically, actually. Murray? - What I want most is health. - 2nd to that is strategy. Technically, we got both.

- Admittedly, I’m a DLo fan so I’m not disappointed he didn’t get moved. I didn’t think there was anyone out there that adequately replaced him despite the playoff narrative. - So it’s back to health. Vando and Gabe healthy, maybe they have a chance. It is what it is.
