Reminder that CS:GO was initially just meant to be Counter-Strike: Source for Xbox 360 / PS3. It was literally meant to serve the same purpose as CS:X but for the newer generation of consoles. This is why its presentation is strikingly similar to its predecessor.

CSX is cursed af, but you can see where the ideas for @CSGO came from. Most of CS:GO's features and changes from PC to Xbox were already there... CS:GO was meant to be a console game after all. Can pickup guns with X, the buymenu, simplified gameplay, team factions etc...
