Oh? What's this now? π¦
That's right, I'm ready to show what's been in the works behind the scenes π!!
My opinion on collabing with others is that I think the viewing experience improves a lot when you have people you bounce off of easily and make sure everyone is included
Maybe some won't like this but it's why I'm picky on who I collab with. I need someone who I vibe with well
I think people severely underestimate the "vibe-check" aspect of doing collabs, because I don't really wanna collab with those who you just don't get along with on a comedy or interest level yknow? Or those who lack certain collab etiquette, ultimately making the streaming experience worse for viewers. Of course this isn't to say you shouldn't collab with those who are like this, but definitely think of the viewer experience! The awkwardness can make itself very apparent when collabs go wrong in this way
But yeah, before you collab with others, do your due diligence by looking at their streams or clips to see if you vibe! I think vibe-checking and looking at their etiquette / discussing it with them is super important! It's what I did when choosing people for my group and it's worked out very well c:

Hot take about VTubing on a Tuesday afternoon but as someone who was involved in the drag scene before getting into streaming, a lot of folks should try to be more cognizant of how theyβre adding or detracting from a stream during a collab.
When youβre collaborating with someone, you have to think about two things: Am I dominating the conversation OR am I adding anything to the viewing experience.
If youβre constantly talking over others, acting like the main character of a collab, or doing antics to constantly draw group attention, it comes off as tacky. Streaming is similar to improv, you have to give people space to perform. Feeling like youβre fighting to get a word in is a horrible experience.
Iβm sure a lot of us have experienced those giant collabs where you knew no one and felt like a complete wallflower, unable to even enjoy yourself or be yourself.
That being said, you also have to give your fellow performers content to work with. When people are trying to banter with you, consider returning serve or offering a joke or conversation in return. It goes beyond replying in a dead tone, βWoah, thatβs crazy.β The absolute worst feeling is trying to make a stream fun and feeling like no one else wants to do the heavy lifting with you.
I totally advise my fellow streamers to watch comedians, drag queens, reality television, interviews, just content that isnβt strictly streaming to get what I mean.
I know a lot of folks in this space donβt come from an entertaining background, theyβre just gamers. But, this is what separates good and bad collab experiences, in my opinion.
And ofc, lemme say this isnβt a subtweet at anyone! Iβve curated my space over the last few years so itβs something Iβve experienced less and less over time. However, itβs something Iβm always working on myself.
But yeah, being mindful can help you create some really fun streams and memories π
In case anyone needs to hear it, don't let go of your whimsy! Keeping your whimsy and child at heart gets you through a lot of tough days, and makes you remember to have joy in this finite life <3
If anyone tells you to grow up and toss your whimsy away, they can go kick rocks!!

VTubers, stop forcing connections
yes, networking is a HUGE part of this space,
but not everyone you meet is gonna become your friend, collab partner, mutual, whatever
and if you keep pushing when the energy clearly isn't being returned... it can start coming off REALLY weird
some connections happens naturally, and some don't
and that's fine
Does anyone wanna help teach me Deadlock? Iβve been wanting to get into it since I got an invite but the MOBA aspect of it scares me! π
Lowkey glad life has become a bit more interesting and busy for me lately. Sad thoughts havenβt been able to fester, so overall Iβve been in higher spirits!
I think my depression is honestly not as bad as it has been in a long time and I feel more optimistic! π₯Ή
chat we successfully secured a date #2 π«‘
AAAAA Iβm going on a first date with someone today and I am nervous as heck πππ
Pls wish me luck because I sooo want it to work out!!
Is it crazy for me to say that I find Australian accents super attractive?
I know every Australian will say wtf but to a Canadian it sounds so appealing!! π₯Ί

Tomorrow is my stream anniversaryβ¨
I cannot believe my first ever stream was 11 years ago!
I don't think I really started to push streaming regularly until a couple years ago - and especially moreso after deciding I wanted to go into Vtubing. But it's so surreal to know that I've known people for over a decade in the streaming space and that streaming has introduced me to so many incredible lifelong friends that will stay in my heart forever.
There has been many ups and downs in my stream journey, but the one constant I've had are my bun companions that have been alongside me every step of the way π₯Ί
Whether you were here when I used to only IRL streams, play competitively for games, be a lil PNG of myself while my computer crashed every 10 minutes because of bits, becoming a vtuber, exploring every single alley of content that I've desired to do, and now having the model of my dreams (while also being a part-time hotdog) - thank you for joining me and supporting me for as long as you have and for many more years to come! I am so absolutely grateful and blessedπ₯Ή
I hope that while you're always in my heart, that I'll always be the star you look up to in the sky π
𧡠As a longtime Miku fan and someone who used to play PJSK for years, I find the whole drama with Ironmouse being involved beyond stupid π§
There is so much disinformation about both her, the game, and the vocaloid medium taken as gospel from people trying to spark drama that itβs frustrating
FIRST: Ironmouse has covered Vocaloid songs in the past and has clearly been a fan of Miku for years. To what extent, idk but anyone is allowed to be a fan of things even if itβs small. I noticed the Vocaloid community lately has had a lot of trouble coming to terms with this. A lot of people see it as βomg you werenβt there in the early 2000s when Vocaloid was first made?? Fake fanβ. I disagree with this perspective so much. And I first started listening to Vocaloid in 2010
SECOND: I saw the take that them collaborating with VTubers is a bad thing for Miku as sheβs seen as a commercial product. News flash: Miku is a vocal synth product that producers borrow her voice for to make their own songs. And she has been in COUNTLESS collaborations. Why Ironmouse specifically gets flack is beyond me. Not to mention, companies like Hololive frequently commission Vocaloid producers to produce songs for members, along with many VTubers covering Vocaloid songs. Like it or not, VTubers and Vocaloid are intertwined to an extent
THIRD: I also saw the take that this collaboration takes opportunities from Vocaloid producers(??). You can tell who hasnβt played this game because this game has so many original songs commissioned for the groups PRODUCED BY VOCALOID PRODUCERS!! Literally no opportunity is being taken from them and this disinformation baffled me the most
LASTLY: The statement that Ironmouse never played the game is straight up false. Go look at the VODs on her channels from months ago. Same with Connorβs. Theyβve been in touch with the developers for a very hot minute
