(via Politis)

I’ll never forget when my cousin from Nigeria moved to America and somebody told me they were bullying her. she was just shy and timid, and they would tell her to “speak english” any time she spoke. I would bust her in her class and say, “BITCH TALK TO ME, I SPEAK ENGLISH” and I never got in trouble because they knew if they called my mom she would come and do worse. they never messed with her again.

BULLYING in schools is the foundation of many adult behavioral problems today. It really starts from there. It should be treated with a very heavy hand.

Javits Frimpong was just 15. He should have made it to school. He should have made it home. Black children deserve safety, tenderness and the chance to grow up. Our hearts are with his family and everyone who loved him. Rest in peace, Javits 🤍

Yes, but Africans deserve to live, travel and exist freely without constantly having to fear for their lives.
I blame Africa sha. If African economies were beneficial to their citizens and looking out for their wellbeing, they wouldn’t have the need to sought out in foreign countries that don’t regard them as equal human beings. I hate this so much.

Yesterday morning, 15-year-old Javits Frimpong was shot and killed near Crotona Park on his way to school. Javits came to the Bronx from Ghana just a year ago to join his father and begin a new life here. Our entire borough is mourning a young man who should have had his whole future ahead of him. I am grateful to the officers of the 42nd Precinct who rushed Javits to St. Barnabas Hospital in an effort to save his life. Those responsible must be held accountable, and I urge anyone with information to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. Every child in the Bronx deserves to walk to school without fearing for their life, and no parent should ever have to endure what Javits’s father, Thomas, is enduring now. My heart is with him and with everyone in Claremont grieving today.

I just want to cry every time I see Javits Frimpong’s picture. There is so much innocence behind his eyes and demeanour. Sweet boy did not deserve this. He was just going to school.

That story of that Ghanaian kid that was killed in the Bronx got me fucked up. Children can be so cruel, kid immigrated to this country for a better life only to get bullied and murdered within a calendar year. Reading stuff like that breaks my heart.

🚨 ATTENTION! People are mistranslating what I said! I NEVER said people should block far-right accounts. I said they should IGNORE THEIR POSTS! Blocking actually works against this strategy because the algorithm will understand that you didn’t see the content simply because you blocked the account. However, when a post appears in your feed and you ignore it, you don’t read it, don’t like it, don’t comment on it, or engage with it in any way , the algorithm will interpret that content as irrelevant because it was shown to you and you chose not to engage with it! THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BLOCKING CONTENT AND IGNORING IT!
