Know your rights: If you’re at a polling place and someone tells you they’re an election monitor, you don’t legally have to answer any questions they might have for you.

What a beautiful man.
Sarah Longwell: “What inspires you to keep stepping into these moments?” Bruce Springsteen: “Anger, anger, anger at what is going on out there. It’s an American tragedy. I’ve always had a keen sense of being somewhat a defender of democracy, of American values. What happened in Minneapolis was just something that made me very, very, very angry”

The most infuriating characteristic of the Trump administration is its intentional cruelty. Deporting Afghan immigrants back to Afghanistan is most probably, most assuredly even, a death sentence. There is something sadistic about this crowd in the White House. The idea that anyone would support such policies, particularly Republican leaders who absolutely know better, is beyond comprehension. America has given up its soul. nytimes.com/2026/10/30/world…

This is heartbreaking, but it’s important for us to know. The ICE agents who Alex Pretti must face charges.
Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. We learned about his death from the media as we saw him being shot repeatedly in the back after helping a woman from his community. This was not a protest that Alex was at. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. We know exactly what our eyes saw. No one from the federal government called us on that day. But they did go on TV to tell lies about Alex. No one has called us since. No one has recanted those lies.

“You are entitled, by all the fundamental rights that you have acquired in generations of fighting, to a free and untrammeled election day . . . The man who tries . . . to chip away these rights is an untrustworthy leader in business or politics.” #FDR 1932 🇺🇸

No matter what our political affiliation, we should all be able to agree that our goal for the midterms is a free and fair election.

People have reported their votes flipping on the machines in Tennessee. This could be happening anywhere. The only way to be absolutely sure your vote is counted correctly is to vote early, fill in a mail-in ballot, and deliver it yourself to an official dropbox.

These are basically concentration camps. They are not holding only criminals. Or even “illegals.” They are holding what the group now in charge deems to be “undesirables.” Nothing could be more dangerous to a free society.
ICE has notified me of another death that has occurred in their custody. This is the 59th death under Trump’s second term. We cannot allow this to continue. We need justice for ICE’s abuse, and we must completely eliminate this broken for-profit system.

An infuriating transgression
If this is what the Trump administration is doing to hundreds of perfectly healthy mature trees in Washington, D.C. in broad daylight, imagine what they're doing to our national forests, protected public lands, and the Arctic Refuge.

Thugs posing as law enforcement.
ICE rip young children away from father—throw little boy down into the street. Boy barely avoids getting run over by car. "They're just kids!" witness yells. "She's holding a baby!" All in front of library playground. Agents so rough with kids—literally knock their shoes off. Incident occurred beside Library Park Playground in Harrison, New Jersey. Ms. Chi doesn't have an account on this platform—so posting first full length and credited video here to help raise awareness.

October 7th. A day of remembrance, a day of grief, a day of prayer. May peace prevail. May the suffering end. May love save us from ourselves. Amen

Multiply this by a thousand times. Then you begin to see the level of suffering created by the obscene control private health insurance companies exert over the U.S. government.

An Indian pilot who was stabbed and bleeding profusely still had the power and the heart to open the cockpit door, Israeli passengers who realized what was happening rushed in and neutralized the attacker and treated the pilot, off duty European pilots landed the plane, Saudi Arabia let the plane land, and the UAE treated the pilot at a hospital in Abu Dhabi. Our shared humanity responded. Our shared humanity is the solution to it all.

A “sadistic authoritarian Trump administration and its Nazi-inspired rapid-removal machine” is an accurate description, enabled by a rogue Supreme Court. There are no effective guardrails against this evil now. November 3 is everything.
A Ruling That Can Only Be Described as Pure Evil On Tuesday, in an unsigned emergency order that reads like a permission slip for suffering, the far-right Roberts Supreme Court cleared the way for third-country deportations. Immigrants can now be dumped in countries they have never lived in — places the U.S. itself has accused of torture and abuse — without a real chance to object. The order lets the sadistic authoritarian Trump administration restart its Nazi-inspired rapid-removal machine: people shipped to Liberia, Equatorial Guinea, the Central African Republic, and other dumping grounds, often with little notice and no meaningful hearing. The destination is not their home. The risk is persecution, torture, and death. The Court did not bother to explain itself. The three liberal justices dissented. This is not a technical stay. It is a green light for a policy whose whole design is to terrorize people by sending them somewhere worse than the place they fled. If cruelty were not the point, they would not need the midnight order.
