My team shipped the most difficult (and longest) project of my career in the last few weeks. We migrated the frontend bundler for Jira (5M+ src lines) from Webpack to @parceljs, and customers (mostly) didn’t notice.

We helped to build/rebuild large parts of Parcel along the way to scale to our needs Builds are much faster, the runtime is slightly faster, and we’re only just getting started with what we can do with Parcel as the bundling platform at @Atlassian.

We don’t believe we could’ve done this with any other bundler out there right now. Does working on these kinds of Projects challenges sound interesting? We’re hiring in AU/NZ: atlassian.com/company/career… DM me for any details!

365 days of Wordle. Just missed that 100 streak. I’ve always played on “hard” mode (must use all known clues).

Either the bottom one is for training a kangaroo, or the implication for the top one is very disturbing.

Fuck! I thought it was a bug that notifications weren’t showing since updating. Turns out it’s just terrible UX.
How is this the design for iOS Notification Center? I pull down to see notifications, see a blank screen, and have to then pull up to see them?? Is there a major use case I’m missing?

Fuck yeah, I’ve gotten back into @slipknot over the last few years so it’s awesome there’ll be a Knotfest here early next year. Also been listening to a lot of @parkwayofficial and @TriviumOfficial, so having them on the bill is an added bonus.

To the lady ordering a “skim vanilla latte” at the beach kiosk, and asking “can you do a latte?”, I don’t think that’s the difficult part…
As always, my approach to Twitter: - don’t follow dickheads - use a chronological timeline client (@Tweetbot is my fave) - disable replies / DMs if you need to I won’t even notice if certain orange skinned former presidents are or aren’t on the platform.

I can make my own pizza dough, do a mean kangaroo sous vide, bake cakes, etc but I still can’t properly crack an egg and get a clean break (that is, not on the edge of a bowl, which apparently you’re not supposed to do)

Anyway, I make a pretty good carbonara - only a little bit of eggshell crunch!

After seeing Shantel VanSanten in so many things recently, it’s weird watching something with Julia Roberts in it.
One of the few Timezone friendly #F1 races of the season, and I’m just watching the rain in Japan. Good times..

Liam Neeson is the new Jason Statham - I just read a description of a new movie of his on Prime and I’m not sure if I’ve seen it already based on just the blurb.
