This👇 is now who @UKLabour are. They cannot be trusted with your children’s future. And why I will be voting @TheGreenParty @ZackPolanski in all future elections. @10DowningStreet @labourlewis @UKParliament @Ed_Miliband
It's now absolutely clear why @andyburnham took his opportunity to aggressively go after @ZackPolanski over @TheGreenParty's Zionism motion. Today, we're expecting measures that could effectively rewrite how our children are taught in our schools. Measures aimed at sanitising a genocide, silencing criticism of Israel, and teaching our children that some atrocities are acceptable to condemn, while others must be treated with political caution. Now add to that, the prospect of further drilling in the North Sea. At a time when the climate crisis is accelerating, when we should be urgently moving away from fossil fuels and investing in a sustainable future, this government appears determined to take us backwards. More extraction. More emissions. More protection for industries that have profited enormously from the destruction of our planet. And who will live with the consequences? Our children. This could be a really, really dark day in British history. A day when our government effectively says: Fuck your children. We don't care about their future. We'll sacrifice their planet, and we'll use their education as a political weapon to defend our own complicity in war crimes as we see fit. To every MP, especially those sitting on the Labour benches, I want to ask something. What the hell did you enter politics for? Was it to serve the public? To defend human rights? To build a better future for the next generation? Or was it to protect your political career, toe the party line and look the other way when your own government does the very things you once claimed to oppose? Look at what's happened to the Republican Party in America. Politicians who once claimed to stand for democracy, decency and the rule of law have repeatedly abandoned those principles rather than stand up to their own leadership. Don't let that happen here. @RichardBurgon, @johnmcdonnellMP, @CliveLewisMP, @ApsanaBegumMP, @BellRibeiroAddy, @IanByrneMP, @NadiaWhittomeMP, @RachaelMaskell, @DawnButlerBrent, @KimJohnsonMP, and every other Labour MP who still believes in the principles that brought them into politics: this is the moment to stand up and be counted. @jeremycorbyn @zarahsultana

🐔 @wagamama_uk has broken its seven-year promise to stop serving #Frankenchickens. Ironically, “wagamama” can mean “selfish” in Japanese. Breaking a promise to give chickens better lives? Wagamama indeed. 🐔 #GoForSlow: bit.ly/3UZFAwq

Note down how much your energy bill is now. Then compare it in February 27. Then you'll realise what a fucking joke this post is.
£100 off energy bills for eligible households. Fuel duty frozen and the 5p cut extended. More help for those who need it most. And thousands more high street businesses paying no business rates. Labour choices delivering help today.

NEW @Telegraph understands Nigel Farage did not display a valid date stamp on his prayer card and it was removed as per Chamber protocol. I also understand Mr Farage did not attend prayers and did not approach Commons staff regarding a seat reservation. telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…

A vicious thug, surrounded by thugs. Why isn’t he on remand until sentencing? He’s a danger to the general public. With a rap-sheet as long as his, I hope he gets the maximum sentence allowable.

It has also continued to support genocide, permit environmental damage caused by fossil fuels, announced policies that might be implemented in 2029/30. Meanwhile, it has done nothing to address the underrlying causes of the rigged economic system.

Missed it. To be fair I was focused on my children's education being weaponised to cover up our complicity in the genoicde in Gaza. Then the news that, despite the fact that we've already breached 7 out of 9 of the planetary boundaries, @UKLabour have greenlit Jackdaw, and Rosebank approval now an Inevitability. I've can't tell you how much I am fed up with politicians continually fucking up this planet and our children's futures. And as for our continued complicity in Gaza, and silencing of all those screaming at the top of their lungs? No words. Literally no words. I can't believe this is what Britian has become.

In an ominous development, a new form of landslide - carrying blocks the size of two-storey houses - is hitting Canada as permafrost melts. Studies suggest they are connected with wildfires and that they could be unprecedented in 10,000 years. livescience.com/planet-earth…

KFC probably won’t advertise this. So we did. 👀 We took our message around Woking, home to KFC UK’s HQ, to expose the reality of fast-growing chickens and its broken welfare promise. Tell @KFC_UKI to #GoForSlow 🐔 bit.ly/3T5WWqx

Six years ago, Yaxley Lennon harassed Byline writers Mike Stuchbery and Tim Fenton so badly that they eventually left the country. (He also promised to pay me a visit!) Anyone condoning these kinds of tactics doesn't believe in a free press. It's a license for thuggery.
Tommy Robinson has been found guilty - it is my view that the system has, again, treated him unfairly. We live in dark times.

NEW. The £100 energy payment will be paid via council tax system (likely into your bank account) from January 2027 for all in Council Tax Band A to D. England only so far, but other UK nations are getting funding to do it. There is also a £100m available for people who will still struggle regardless of band. #Budget2026

John Healey only taxing banks by extra 3% - and time limited. HSBC made £900 every SECOND over the last three months (NEF analysis). Labour are asking the banks for 'a bit more' when they should be properly taxing obscene bank profits.

Cash ISA cut SCRAPPED. The limit will stay at £20,000 tax-free for people of all ages. And to make investment more accessible I will work with the sector to form a new "starter ISA" to make investment more accessible. Delighted Chancellor has taken up my idea for this and gone with the carrot rather than the stick! #Budget2026

This is nonsense. You may have taken a leave of absence but you remain a peer and you can sit in the Lords again. You enjoy a formidable network and considerable influence because of that status. It's a revolving door and you are cynically swinging through it.
Mr Polanski, I know you have a reputation for being scrupulous about checking your facts, but you’ve missed an important detail. My contract requires me to remain on leave from the Lords, surrender my parliamentary pass and forgo all access and voting rights for the duration of my employment at Palantir. I do not, therefore, take any whip. I fear this makes me rather less useful to the whips’ office than you imply.
