There will be trilateral Ukraine talks in Abu Dhabi next week - Putin
Russia’s team is led by Vladimir Medinsky with intelligence and foreign ministry officials. Ukraine’s delegation is headed by Foreign Intelligence chief Rustem Umerov; presidential adviser Kyrylo Budanov will attend but not lead.
The Americans will send a businessman.
Talks will cover security guarantees, de-escalation, humanitarian issues like prisoner swaps, and energy infrastructure.
This is the first trilateral session since rounds stalled in February 2026. Europe is of course not invited. Kallas has just announced that Russia must make make major concessions before Ukraine signs anything. 🤷♂️
Putin is opening the Security Council to discuss the strategy for the talks.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 The CIA was parachuting agents into Ukraine 73 YEARS before Russia invaded.
And this isn't some conspiracy theory. It's in the CIA's own declassified records.
In September 1949, American-backed Ukrainian operatives were dropped into Soviet territory to support the anti-Soviet underground.
Most of these missions ended disastrously.
Former NYT journalist Stephen Kinzer argues this was the beginning of a 75-year American strategy to use Ukraine against Moscow.
He traces that strategy through NATO expansion and the 2014 Maidan uprising, arguing that Washington helped create the conditions for the 2022 invasion.
Kinzer is clear that Russia was the aggressor.
But he makes a much more controversial argument: A simple U.S. commitment to keep Ukraine OUT of NATO might have prevented the war entirely.
That's debatable. The CIA operations in 1949 aren't.

🚨🇵🇱 Poland's Defense Minister has stepped in to SHUT DOWN claims that the Kraków gunman was a Polish soldier.
Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz says the attacker has NEVER served in the Polish Armed Forces and has no military background.
The gunman was wearing military-style camouflage, a helmet and protective gear when he opened fire in Kraków's historic Main Market Square.
And police found a huge amount of additional WEAPONS AND AMMUNITION inside his car.
The death toll has now risen to SIX, with 15 others wounded.
Police say he acted alone, but investigators still haven't established his motive.
How did someone with no military affiliation acquire so much weaponry?

Russia has confirmed its delegation for next week's peace negotiations with the US and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi.
The delegation includes presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, Deputy Foreign Ministers Sergei Ryabkov and Mikhail Galuzin, military intelligence chief Igor Kostyukov and senior General Staff officer Yury Zhigarlovsky.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said presidential aide Yury Ushakov will oversee the talks but won't attend in person.
The negotiations are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.

My advice to Gina Hinojosa: Stop allowing political differences to influence economic decisions. Elon Musk’s political affiliation and support for Donald Trump should have nothing to do with how his businesses are treated in Texas.
Tesla creates jobs, attracts investment and contributes to the state’s economy. If you want Texas to prosper, focus on policies that encourage businesses to invest, expand and create more employment opportunities rather than threatening them with punitive taxes.
You may disagree with Elon Musk politically, but your responsibility as governor is to represent ALL Texans, not just Democrats. Don’t turn Texas into a state where businesses feel punished for supporting the wrong political party.

At least FIVE people are dead and more than a dozen injured after a gunman drove into the city's historic Main Market Square and opened fire.
Police say the attacker began shooting at people from his vehicle.

A GUNMAN drove into Kraków's historic Main Market Square and opened FIRE on people in the heart of the Polish city.
Polish media now report FIVE people dead and more than a dozen injured.
The attacker was reportedly shot by police and taken to hospital. An officer was also wounded.
People fled into shops and cafés as ambulances, firefighters and an air ambulance helicopter rushed to the scene.
St. Mary's Basilica was closed amid the emergency response.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk says he's receiving updates from the Interior Minister as police investigate the attack.
The motive remains UNKNOWN, and authorities have not established whether this was terrorism.
