Just like human #CPR can save lives, “Home CPR” can save lives too. Help ensure you and your loved ones are safe in your home by practicing Home CPR! #firesaftey @usfire @NAofSFM @FirehouseNews #az
The holiday season is here and it is common to see a spike in house fires. One key component to fire safety is working smoke alarms in the home. Practice "Home CPR" C=Check your alarms, P= Prevent fires, R=Replace alarms after 10 years. youtu.be/E_xHDWdFiIw #holidaysafety
Our annual Ride for Toys event is right around the corner! Hope to see a huge turnout Sat. Dec. 14th, from 10am to 2pm at Copper Sky!

MFMD Captain Brad Pitassi (bottom right pic) is a Lead PIO on the SWA Type 1 IMT and had the opportunity to give Congressman O’Halleran a briefing of the Tinder fire. xitter.cf/repohalleran/status/99…
Yesterday, I attended a briefing from the folks on the ground fighting the #TinderFire. I want to thank Type 1 Incident Commander Bea Day and all the other folks who allowed me to attend this scheduled update on the fire. #AZ01
Dense fog this morning in Maricopa makes for limited visibility in the roads. Allow for extra time and stay safe if your traveling this morning. Fog is forecasted to lift around 9am.
Morning garage fire displaces family of 5 in Senita subdivision. Cause under investigation, Red Cross en route. No injuries reported.
We have had numerous calls requesting the fire department provide and change smoke detector batteries. We do not provide that service and recommend finding a local handyman or smoke detector service to change batteries or replace the units they are expired.
Come join us on Dec 9th at 10am for our Annual Ride-for-Toys charity event held in Pacana Park. Donate a toy, get a ride in the fire truck!
No better way to start the day than with a fire truck demonstration to a fun group of kindergarteners!
Update: 96 year old female found unresponsive without a pulse as crews arrived. Patient was not revived. MPD is investigating.
