I keep telling everyone the same thing and they still act like I’m weird for it, just get an animal around you. doesn’t matter if the day went sideways or you’re sitting there overthinking random crap at 2am, they don’t care.
they just show up, no questions, no side-eye, nothing. humans will ghost you over one awkward text and these guys will still be right there acting like you invented the sun.
they don’t bring you money or solve your problems, they just sit there and somehow your face ends up smiling anyway. I don’t even know how they do it. every time I watch stuff like this I remember why I keep saying it.
They either never left or they make sure you feel it the second they see you. Which one have you actually got in your life?

On Saturday, 24 October, at a rally in the North West province, EFF leader and convicted criminal Julius Malema again called for the slaughtering of white people and farmers in South Africa with the hateful "Kill the Boer"-chant.
4 days later, on Wednesday morning the 28th, also in the North West province, farmer Donovan Marx was attacked, shot in the back, stabbed, beaten, and tortured.
Don't tell me it's "just a song".
True
Lula packed Brazil’s Supreme Court with his own lawyer and justice minister and had them lock his rival up for 27 years.
Back in 2023, after taking power, he named Cristiano Zanin and Flávio Dino to the court. In 2025 both voted to convict Jair Bolsonaro of a coup plot and hand him the sentence.
That court had previously wiped Lula’s own corruption convictions in 2021 so he could run again.
On election day, Zanin ordered the polls kept open another 2 hours, 3 minutes before they were supposed to close. Both sides had asked, but the call came from Lula’s former defense lawyer.
Even after Bolsonaro was barred and jailed, Lula still trailed Flávio 45–47 in the first round and only scraped past him by under 4 points in the runoff.
Flávio still refuses to concede. Lula called the win a defeat for denialism and lies.
Two of the judges who put his rival away were the men he put on the court. Voters barely picked him. The court cleared the path.

Here is a radical thought: is it time to think about South Africa from a zero base?
No nation has ever successfully built its future by focusing so heavily on the rear-view mirror that it missed the road ahead.
The past is a vital reference point, but it is immutable.
To thrive, South Africa must consider zero-based strategic planning.
A disclaimer on my lens: as someone operating across markets and regions, I have a wider view than most.
Fact: Capital flows where the future is actively being engineered.
Zero-based strategic planning means taking a fixed point in time (today, now) and designing an inspirational, multi-dimensional economy from scratch.
It means asking: "If we were building South Africa today for the 2030s and beyond, what infrastructure and policies do we need?"
Sceptics will say our historical scars of colonialism & structural discrimination run too deep to allow a blank-slate approach. I wouldn't dismiss history, but economic history shows that the nations that suffered the deepest institutional trauma benefited most from this pivot.
Look at Singapore. In 1965, newly independent & reeling from colonial neglect, its nominal GDP per capita was roughly $500 USD, on a par with South Africa at the time.
It had zero natural resources, high unemployment (close to 9%), and deep ethnic fractures.
Sounds familiar, anyone?
Instead of obsessing over its lack of assets, Singapore’s Economic Development Board, established in 1961, pivoted from scratch.
It abandoned standard import substitution and built a hyper-modern, export-led tech manufacturing hub.
By 1990, GDP per capita had reached $13,000.
But Vusi, that Singapore is unique. Who else can you reference?
They are deeply unpopular now, but let me look at the United Arab Emirates.
Upon federation in 1971, they recognised that a nation built solely on finite oil rents was structurally unsustainable. They chose to use oil to fund a non-oil future, transforming into an open, global corridor.
Today, the UAE’s intensive diversification strategies mean that the non-oil sector drives over 70% of its GDP.
Look at the Asia Pacific: South Korea in 1962.
Devastated by colonisation and war, its per-capita Gross National Product was a meagre $87 USD. It had virtually no natural resources and a tiny domestic market. Its history could have paralysed it.
Instead, through targeted, forward-looking industrial plans, it systematically shifted from basic agriculture to heavy industry and, ultimately, technology. Today, it stands as a dominant, highly inclusive top-15 global economy.
Even post-Soviet Europe offers a blueprint. In 1991, Estonia emerged from decades of systemic occupation with obsolete infrastructure.
Rather than trying to update old, broken systems, it launched the "Tiger Leap" (Tiigrihüpe) initiative in 1996.
Estonia allocated 1% of GDP strictly to digital infrastructure and schools. It built a paperless state from scratch.
Today, 100% of its public services are online, and digital signatures alone save the country 2% of its GDP annually. It skipped the legacy phase entirely.
What connects Singapore, the UAE, South Korea, and Estonia?
They all experienced deep historic trauma, resource scarcity, or sudden disruptions.
Yet each chose to build its national strategy around future opportunities, not past injuries.
South Africa possesses unparalleled latent talent, a geostrategic position connecting continents, and a youthful population ready for the modern digital economy.
But we are stalling our engine by litigating the past instead of building the macro case for our future. I am not saying forget the past. I am saying dont live there.
Zero-based planning doesn't erase history; it honours past sacrifices by ensuring they weren't made in vain.
It is time for our generation of leaders to stop managing decline & start intentionally designing an inclusive, future-focused South African miracle

🚨🚨 SCANDAL: "Anthony Fauci illegally experimented on orphaned children"... "He buried their bodies in an unmarked mass grave to cover it up"....
"Fauci made sure none of those children had guardians, which is illegal, and then hid from the boards what he was doing. He took in foster homes across six states and handed them over to the pharmaceutical industry"...
"He made sure the people running those foster homes didn't even have medical training. Most of them were immigrants from the Dominican Republic. They knew nothing about medicine or responsibilities and were sick themselves"...
"And little by little they realized what was being done to those children, that they were torturing them. And, you know, there are videos of those children, an old BBC documentary that'll make you cry".
"I promise you can watch this without crying. One of these kids, 12 years old, is trying to protect an 8-year-old boy and has a tube in his stomach. And he says to them: 'I tried to fight them' and that's what they do"...
"If you fight them, you can't fight them. You just have to take the medications, and the kids didn't want to take them because they were making them terribly sick. And Celia Farber was this incredible investigator who worked on this chapter for me and did a lot of the original research on it"...
"She went to Hawthorne, New York, to the Gates of Heaven cemetery. She found the cemetery where Fauci was disposing of the bodies of these children who died in his illegal experiments"...
"She found an open pit, covered by a carpet of artificial grass. She pulled back the carpet and saw hundreds and hundreds of little coffins stacked haphazardly on top of each other, because they were children with no parents and no one there to protect them"...
"And Tony Fauci treated them like collateral damage and, you know, his goal was to expand markets for these pharmaceutical companies he'd partnered with by allowing toxic chemotherapy drugs against HIV to be administered to the children"...
"And then the next experiments, which are in the following chapter and are equally horrific, are his experiments in Africa"...
