Revisiting this because it is kinda unnerving to think about. Deltarune flashbacks are always depicted via very limited silhouette presentations. I always assumed it's a limitation brought on by our late arrival to this world. Which makes me wonder what changes for this instance.

ok so this animation from the newsletter right? it's really weird it has this subtle bloom effect, the file is called "colorOutline_3x", and it uses a brown color for the outlines instead of the usual solid black

Like idk man it's literally in the logo of the game. Deltarune has its main four characters and they're the ones who have gotten the most and rightfully deserved focus in the narrative because it's about. Us.

I'll be honest I've been super conservative about putting stock into Deltarune's supporting cast being big players because outside of Noelle in Weird Route, Chapter 1 made it explicitly clear the story was about the main four of Us, Kris, Noelle and Ralsei and I just trusted that

Xenoblade 3 was a disappointment man. I mean of all the shitty unmemorable Heroes it never made one that stuck with me. They needed a Gorilla, who came from the moon. And he makes energy barriers and attacks with a Tesla cannon. I have made a proof of concept.
