New audio leaks expose Trump's Latin America fixer Fernando Cerimedo pushing martial law against Bolivia's indigenous protests, getting top US diplomat removed As Trump's de facto regional bagman, and a partner of Israeli foreign agent Brad Parscale, Cerimedo has advised right-wing presidential candidates from Argentina to Honduras to Bolivia to Peru. In the last two years, every single one of his clients won their elections. But this August Cerimedo was arrested following allegations he oversaw the attempted murder of his former partner, Nadia Beler. Beler has since made public a series of private chats and audio recordings attributed to Cerimedo which expose how elections won by politicians aligned with Donald Trump across Latin America. The leaked exchanges also reveal the influence of foreign interests from Washington to Tel Aviv over governments in the region. In one of the most shocking recordings, Cerimedo claims to have personally intervened in the replacement of a U.S. ambassador to Bolivia. But what is even more revealing is that he claims the replacement ambassador was part of his own MAGA political circle. Written and produced by Oscar Leon w/ Max Blumenthal

🚨🚨NEW Radio @TheWarNerd up - one of my very favorite writers, Thomas Frank @thomasfrank_ on his bitterly hilarious and all too relevant new book, "The Creativity Con" - about the enduring ideology of "innovation" that's led us to today's culturally stagnant oligarchy. [link👇]

Trump & Netanyahu trying again to provoke Iran to launch a preemptive strike, to turn the IRI’s new defense doctrine to their political advantage on election eve. Far more electorally advantageous for both war criminals if they can lure the IRI to hit first, then get their war on

Some U.S. sources said they had the impression that Israel was hoping the Iranians would fire at the aircraft, providing a justification for launching strikes against Iran

this woman objected to me calling her a booth bunny at AUSA but it is fascinating honestly — the average defense contractor outfit is ill fitting dockers and a button down shirt from Costco. None of them ever have blood stains, even though they sell death and misery.

We talked with @BrianMteleSUR about Brazil’s Evangelical politics and the US project to counter liberation theology
CIA document from 1952 outlines how they embarked on programme to promote right-wing Christian currents to clamp down on what was later called "liberation theology" in Latin America. "The present rather weak and uncoordinated efforts of religious groups to combat Communism should be vigorously reinforced," the CIA noted. "Tremendous advantages to the Western program would ensue if it were possible to persuade all religious groups to unite in a campaign attacking Communism because of the Godlessness inherent in the Marxist doctrine." It continued: "It is therefore vital, if covert activities are to be effective, that they are carefully concentrated where they can accomplish the most". At the time the CIA complained that "its assets as to personnel and covert mechanisms are not capable of covertly supporting many different and wide-spread activities" in Latin America. This soon changed - and support for ultra conservative Christian currents in Latin America continues to this day. One big victim of this operation has been Brazil, where conservative Evangelical and Pentecostal churches have been promoted relentlessly. They were, later, a key element of far-right president Jair Bolsonaro's base - and now his son. The CIA (and MI6) did exact same in West Asia using, in this case, ultra conservative Wahhabis and Salafis as a bulwark against secular nationalism, socialism and anti-imperialism. Nasser in Egypt was the biggest target of all after he nationalised the Suez Canal in 1956 and the resulting UK/France/Israel invasion failed.

To be clear, Ukraine has supported an unconditional ceasefire and freeze in place for over a year. This is not a new position. The Russians, by contrast, want a negotiated settlement— that’s not a new position for them either.
The change in tone and substance from just a few days ago is remarkable. Kudos to President Zelensky for choosing cooperation and compromise in negotiations and dealings with the United States. I hope this is a harbinger of movement from Russia as well.

This is wild: "Freight for a supertanker carrying Gulf crude to China was near a record $37.37 a barrel this week." So freight is now a 33% markup over the headline Brent price. Reinforces the idea that the world's main oil benchmark may not be much of a benchmark anymore wsj.com/world/middle-east/mo…

On Oct 18, 1860, French and British forces burned down the Summer Palace in Beijing after looting it. The fire burned for 3 days.
This is what the barbarians just burned down in France.

If the Dems win either/both chambers, they're sure to spend much of their political capital on centering the Ukraine war cause and holding Trump to account for not supporting Ukraine enough/"helping Putin". The Dem base's top concern is cost of living; for Dem elites it's Ukraine

Ukraine was winning the war, so Trump kneecapped Ukraine to help Russia. I wish it weren’t that simple, but it is. Our president is in bed with our enemies.

I see many wondering why the No Kings rallies are not as confrontational or angry as protests in France, Albania etc, and have no concrete demands It’s because No Kings participants are certain the Democrats will sweep the midterms, and their only demand is that we vote Democrat These are purely get out the vote rallies for a Democrat Party that is still generally pro-war, pro-Israel, and corporate friendly They are filled with boomerlibs hypnotized by MSNOW and first term Trump era Russiagate propaganda. Once the Dems take power, they go back to brunch. Any more radical demands are sure to be diluted within the partisan No Kings morass, or shut down by a lady wearing a shirt that says “Resist.”

Interesting development here, the first time Yemen's Ansarallah Armed Forces mentions Al-Kharj (joint US-Saudi Prince Sultan Air Base) as a point of origin of today's attacks on Yemen. "During the past 24 hours, the Saudi warplanes conducted 93 airstrikes and missile attacks targeting civilian assets in the provinces of: -Al-Jawf, Taiz, Saada, Marib, Hajjah, Lahij, Amran, and Ibb, using "F-15" and "Typhoon" aircraft that took off from enemy bases in: - Khamis Mushait, Taif, Al-Kharj, and Sharurah Airport, resulting in martyrs and wounded among civilians."

Wonder if MbS will be overthrown in a palace coup after getting KSA into not just 1 but 2 disastrous wars against Ansarallah, an adversary it can’t hope to defeat, only this time without the UAE at its side because the Saudis stomped & expelled UAE from Yemen.
⭕️ Footage of Yemen's Ansarallah fighters confronting Saudi army soldiers on the Jizan and Asir border fronts. Swarm of Rajum Drones are visible at the beginning.

Oil traders are increasingly pricing the battle over the Strait of Hormuz as the new normal. Futures contracts for brent crude in December 2027 are now close to $90 a barrel, the highest ever and a sharp departure from even a month ago.

All of these countries moving “defensive” forces into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to protect against Ansarallah air attacks—what happens when Trump-Netanyahu restart their criminal war on Iran. Will they all be at war with Iran too? Is that the unspoken purpose here?
