Another visit to Cambridge last weekend! The rehanging of the Dugas and its reconfiguration amongst other wonderful paintings at the Fitzwilliam was a highlight.

It’s holiday time for me. As a treat I’m reading this translation of the classic! This version is so fresh and vibrant. I want to read apace…. This translation, more than others, highlights the contingency of ‘canonical’ texts, the choices made, and why.
