I don’t like change, hate what they are doing to the playoff, conferences are bloated and regionalism killed… But at least conference expansion means Tennessee doesn’t have to play in Columbia, SC every other year. WBS is a house of horrors.

The play call: Brame with a quick opener behind Carson Gentle as a fullback. The “pitch man” and QB option action is to keep edge players #0 and #8 from crashing down into the line of scrimmage. Easy first. George just forgot to hand it off. That’s it.

So… if 4th and 1 was an option play, that’s inexcusable. If coming out of a timeout the QB missed the handoff, that’s inexcusable. Either way, inexcusable loss.
