I have a 6pm lecture on October 21st scheduled at Clemson University. It has been lined up for awhile... Just found out that President Trump is having a political rally on-campus on the same day beginning at 5:30p. I better start leaving now to beat the congestion in Tigertown.

The 24 team CFB Playoff reinforces one thing: I'm glad I retired in '25. I'm sure the television entity behind this decision and the gambling community will be thrilled with the latest news. CFB has morphed into a chaotic, lawless version of the NFL. Enjoy at your own risk.

Great night ahead. An evening with the legendary Jack Nicklaus at Hickory Sportsman’s Club. Jack and I will discuss a number of great topics surrounding his incredible career. In the picture is JT Poston…the Hickory native won Jack’s tournament earlier this year.

Part 5 Is anyone surprised that the "Protect College Sports Act" has hit a snag? When your game plan to solve a problem is to lean on Congress...you got serious issues. Can anybody figure out Jeff Brohm & Louisville? I think he's a tremendous coach, but there's always a snag.

Part 4 I didn't expect Penn State to be this bad out of the gate. Matt Campbell is a really good coach...gotta see what he can do. Jake Dickert's Deacs could be the ACC's second best team Jim Mora fired his DC in the 1st Q of their game...you don't see that very often.

Part 3 The Big XII race is wild...BYU, Texas Tech, OK State, Houston, Utah...what about Baylor? From all indications, Shane Beamer is a great dude...but another double digit blown lead at home is a killer. USC is at pissed off Florida this week. UGA @ Bama...yes, please.

Part 2 Outrage over the AP Top 25 is as useless as the poll itself. Knowledgable CFB fans understand the only poll that matters is released by the CFP Committee. Pitt is 5-0...but the news surrounding QB Mason Heintschel season ending injury truly stinks. Wow...Florida State!

CFB Thoughts...Part 1 The elite flexed on the road....Miami, IU, Ohio State, Bama & ND. Josh Pate's hot take comparison about Florida and 2019 LSU was comedic fodder...MIZZOU, really? Dave Portnoy's week was even worse...Red Sox swept, Michigan L and dumped by FOX Sports BNK.

Highly entertaining game in Blacksburg last night. The refs got it right on the last second FG. I thought he made it watching it live...but this video and the college rule make it pretty obvious that the call was correct.

“The goal of every American worker is to be suspended with pay”…..I’ve said it on-air for decades. It still holds true today.

Sounds like a great plan. In fact, I’d highly recommend it!

CFB/Part2 Jake Dickert...the next dude in-demand. Is Texas A&M already tabbed as a Top 10 team for next year's AP Pre-Season poll? UNC & Clemson staring directly into potentially humbling home encounters. Dan Lanning post-game trash talk...remind again, what has he won?

CFB Thoughts/Part 1 Which USC had the worst weekend...The one whose coach can't win a big game, or the one who lost his team? Georgia & Florida looked physically imposing...impressive. Michigan, let me introduce you to karma. I'm more impressed with Texas DL than their QB.

Thoughts from a week ago….its crazy how the CFB world changes week to week

I am a notoriously awful sleeper. I've been wide awake since 1am. I still can't believe the news surrounding the passing of Chris Spatola. It is a reminder to all of us that every day is precious. Tell the special people in your life that you love them. Make every day count.

I'm at a loss for words over this horrific news. Chris was a terrific dude...a frequent guest on both the radio and television shows over the years. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends. 🙏 RIP, Chris.

You just have to laugh at the absurdity of CFB. Located only 70 miles apart, Clemson & Georgia announce that their future 4-game series is cancelled. Meanwhile. Clemson prepares to fly cross country to play a Friday night conference game vs Cal. Insanity.

Part 4... Is this the week Lincoln Riley wins an important game? He's long overdue. I used to love College Football Pregame Shows. Too much fluff. Huge moment awaits Tennessee this week. Louisville & Ole Miss can't get caught napping this week. Emotional wins, be careful.

Part 3... Who is the best team in the Big XII? How good are SEC QBs in the state of Mississippi? I don't know Jon Sumrall, but I like his style...hope he builds something cool at Florida. I enjoy lima beans less than Bill Belichick enjoys losing post game handshakes.

Part 2... Texas beat Ohio State, but I like the Buckeyes chances moving forward. Need to see more from UGA & ND. Both are built for the long haul. Kiffin is the perfect CFB dark hat. But do you know he's 13-26 vs Top 25 teams. Great coaching jobs taking place at WF & Duke.
