For generations of children, some of television’s happiest memories began with a walk down Festive Road. From his home at 52 Festive Road, Mr Benn would make his way to the little costume shop at the end of the road, where, as if by magic, the shopkeeper appeared.A new costume, a magic door and another extraordinary adventure awaited. Whether he became a knight, a pirate, a clown, a cowboy or a spaceman, each episode carried him into a world of wonder before he returned home with a small souvenir in his pocket and a story to treasure.
