Non-fiction titles retain roughly 65% of peak sales velocity after 12 months.
Fiction titles retain roughly 25%.
Non-fiction lives on a longer plateau.
That structural difference is why sequenced non-fiction portfolios compound more reliably than single-title or series-fiction experiments.

In this order:
• Stop writing the book 'you' want to write.
• Start spending time reading the market first.
• Make books people want.

Since a few people questioned whether this story was real...
Here's my interview with the bartender who generated $96,000 in his first 8 months with AI Publishing.
(P.S. Subscribe to my YouTube channel.)
youtu.be/6zhHrN9Z0PQ?si=_GA-…
A bartender asked me how he could make money online without quitting his job.
I told him to stop everything and start selling $9 PDFs using AI. He made $44,500 this month doing it. Here's how:
Oh, and if you want my complete strategy broken down, with AI prompts, workflow and systems... like this post, follow me and comment "PDF". I'll DM it to you.
• He didn't build a personal brand"
• He didn't hire a team or create an LLC
• He didn't create content, grow a following, or spend months earning the right to sell.
He didn't write a single word.
He found something that most people walk past every day without recognizing it for what it is.
A platform with 310 million active buyers.
All of them searching.
All of them with a specific problem they need solved.
All of them willing to pay for the right answer immediately.
And almost nobody treating it like the business opportunity it actually is.
Here's what I mean by that.
When most people think about making money on Amazon, they think about physical products.
Inventory, suppliers, shipping, FBA.
The whole complicated, capital-heavy version of Amazon that requires thousands of dollars before you see a cent back.
What Ricard learned from me is completely different.
It's the part of Amazon that has been quietly making people wealthy for years— with no inventory, no shipping, no startup capital, and no audience required.
And the reason almost nobody is doing it properly is simple:
It doesn't look exciting from the outside.
It looks like books.
Short, unglamorous, 70 to 90-page nonfiction books sitting in categories most people scroll past.
• Books about building muscle after 50.
• Books about managing anxiety after divorce.
• Books about budgeting when you're living paycheck to paycheck.
Nobody is posting about this model on X because it doesn't have the aesthetic of a SaaS dashboard or a Shopify revenue screenshot.
It just quietly produces royalties.
Every month.
Across 17 countries.
While the person who built it does something else entirely.
Ricard was mixing drinks when his first royalty hit.
- He wasn't at a laptop.
- He wasn't running ads.
- He wasn't posting content.
He was working his shift.
And Amazon was selling his book to someone in the US, someone in the UK, and someone in Australia simultaneously.
Every day.
Whether Ricard is behind the bar or not.
What I find most interesting about this model is how invisible it is to most people despite being completely in plain sight.
You've used Amazon.
You've probably bought a book on Amazon.
You've never thought about who built that book, how long it took them, or what it earns them every month.
Neither did Ricard.
Until he did.
And then he couldn't unsee it.
$44,500 in a month from a platform he'd been using as a customer for years.
The opportunity doesn't announce itself.
It never has.
It just sits there, hiding behind a category page most people skip, waiting for the person who looks closely enough to see what's actually happening.
If you want to see exactly what Ricard saw— the complete strategy, AI prompts, and the workflow behind the $44,500 month:

One book published is NINE different income streams:
Format streams:
1. Kindle
2. Paperback
3. Hardcover
4. Audiobook
That's already 4 buyers you'd miss by publishing in just one format.
Then there're platform streams:
5. KENP
6. Bundles
7. Translations
8. Expanded distribution
9. KDP account exit (sell the entire business to an investor at a 35x multiple)
Same content, multiple income streams.
So let's say:
Paperback makes $2,000/month.
Kindle adds $500.
Hardcover adds $300.
Audiobook adds $700.
Suddenly your "one book" is generating $3,500/month.
Most beginners publish one format and leave money on the table.
Smart publishers squeeze every dollar from the same asset.
The goal isn't creating more books.
It's extracting more value from each book.
So you can work once, and monetize multiple times.
That's how portfolios grow faster than people expect.

This Barcelona couple made $100K in a year from a SINGLE book.
• They aren't writers.
• They aren't publishers.
• They just learned one system.
Gerard was stuck with boxes of Amazon FBA products piled up in a tiny apartment.
Laia was trying to make Twitch work.
But then, they finally shifted to the most profitable AI business model of 2026:
AI Publishing.
Pick an evergreen niche. Build books around real demand. Let Amazon do the selling.
Now one book makes $100K/year in the US alone... and the same book does another $20K/month across Germany and France.
Most people will read this, feel something, then do nothing.
Six months from now they'll still be thinking "I should've just started."
A few will actually learn the system, publish their first book this month, and look back at this as the moment things changed.
If you're one of them, you an have hands on the same training that showed Gerard and Lea how to build a $250K+ publishing business:

What's surprising is that most Americans spend decades building an income.
Very few spend those decades building assets.
Wealth starts when something you own works harder than you do.

Everyone is overcomplicating making money with AI.
I used it to create 90-page nonfiction eBook, and now that brings in $3,000 to $5,000 every month.

One of our students lost money for 2 months on Amazon KDP.
He kept going.
Month 8: $7,800/month. 10 hours a week.
The question isn't whether KDP works in 2026.
It's which tier you're building toward, and what's actually separating them.

There's an email from Amazon KDP no publisher want to open.
Subject: "Your account has been terminated."
The royalties. The books. Months of work.
Gone overnight. No warning. No call. One vague form letter.
Here's what actually causes KDP bans, and how to recover: 🧵

This is Gaurav.
IT guy. Dad. Wanted time with his daughter while she's still young.
Made $4,000 last month selling eBooks on Amazon.
But when he started, he had:
• No writing background
• No publishing experience
• Doubt that it might not work
Month 1: $400 in the red.
Month 2: $600 in the red.
Month 3: first profit, $200.
December: $4,000 net.
January: $2,200 net.
He didn't do anything extra.
Just followed my system rigorously.
Amazon distributed the books automatically.
24% of his royalties came from Canada alone.
He's got 10 books live.
Three of them do most of the heavy lifting.

This is James.
An investment banker who tried every side hustle imaginable... and failed:
• eCom
• Affiliate marketing
• Other “trendy” businesses
Nothing stuck.
Today, he makes $4,000/month selling eBooks.
The crazy part?
It takes him about 4 hours a month.
He didn’t invent or guessed anything.
He simply copied the same system I use.
That’s how he went from:
Investment banker → 5-figure self-publisher.
Just a repeatable system.

I make $50k/month selling eBooks on Amazon.
If I lost everything and had to start from zero tomorrow...
Here are 4 things I’d do very differently:
1/ I wouldn’t write a single word.
My job isn’t typing, it’s building systems.
AI can handle the content. I focus on strategy and scale.
2/ I wouldn’t obsess over volume.
More books ≠more money.
20% of titles print 80% of profits. I’d double down on winners instead of playing publishing roulette.
3/ I wouldn’t obsess over “growing an audience” first.
Amazon is the audience.
Millions of buyers are already searching... why spend months trying to “build attention” when distribution is built in?
4/ I’d never go solo again.
Going alone slowed me down.
The right guidance and the right room collapse years into weeks.
That’s why I’m doing this:
I’m giving access to my personal eBook publishing strategies, where you’ll learn how to build a $100K/yr eBook business in 14 days... step-by-step.

I made $39,000 in 29 days selling eBooks.
But here’s the twist:
I didn’t write a single one of them.
Even my grandma could've done it.
You just need the right strategy + tools.
Here's my complete investment breakdown:
• Amazon for research: $0
• ChatGPT for outlining: $0
• Claude for book writing: $0
• Grammarly + Hemingway for editing: $0
• Canva + Ideogram for covers: $0
• Amazon KDP for publishing: $0
• Turnitin for plagiarism check: $0
Total investment: Almost $0
But I like to spend $100-$800 to optimise this whole process.
