Sci-Hub is an evil website that pirated 85M+ research papers and made them freely available
And now they've added AI to their database to make Sci-Bot.
It answers your questions using latest, full-text articles.
But DO NOT use it. We should all try to make billion-dollar academic publishers richer.
I'm putting the link below so you know how to avoid it.

A billionaire can buy a platform and delete millions of livelihoods with a signature.
That's not a flaw in the system. That is the system.
The only fix is infrastructure nobody owns and nobody can shut down.

A smoother on-ramp matters.
In this demo, the team shows how @openfort_hq powers biometric login in @Streamr_App, making it easier to onboard both Web2 and Web3 users without the usual friction.
Big shoutout to Openfort for the tech here. Very clean integration.

First-ever Building in Public stream hosted on StreamrApp.
Not just “we went live.”
We hosted the call once and restreamed it to X + YouTube + LinkedIn at the same time.
That’s the Beta direction: A true p2p private host, many public outputs.
What platform should we prioritize next: Kick, Facebook, TikTok, or something else?

It’s happening.
One of the biggest feats we’ve accomplished in a while.
A streaming platform that’s intrinsically secure, private, and built for the people.
Today, @Streamr_App showcases that feat, powered by Streamr rails.
Don’t miss it at 16:00 UTC.

This one feels like a milestone.
Next Building in Public is on StreamrApp.
We’ve wanted this for a while.
And we’re shipping restreaming across socials live for the first time.
If privacy in streaming matters to you, pull up.

Most “internal” company meetings aren’t actually internal.
You hop on a call, and the useful stuff kicks in: transcripts, AI notes, recordings, summaries.
But the default is still the same: the meeting runs through a vendor, then your company’s context lives on their cloud.
So yeah, a third party ends up holding the most sensitive parts.

If your app depends on the same few centralized layers, you inherit their downtime.
We built StreamrApp to reduce those inherited failure modes.
Quick breakdown in the video 👇

StreamrApp doesn’t make you log in with email, and it doesn’t force the usual friction-filled “connect wallet” flow either.
We integrated @openfort_hq , so you can spin up an account straight from an Ethereum address, smoothly.
Openfort deserves more attention; this is the kind of login layer the web should’ve had years ago.

Operator nodes auto-joining live streams and earning $DATA is a big step forward.
This is a decentralized pub/sub infrastructure moving from theory to live video.
StreamrTV is now connected to Streamr Network $DATA incentives
This marks the first live connection between @Streamr_App the Network, and $DATA incentives.
What’s live now
🔸 Streamr Network Operator nodes automatically join StreamrTV streams
🔸 Operators earn DATA for supporting live video, handled by AutoStaker
🔸 A new Network graph view shows which Operators are connected to a stream
How it works
🔸 StreamrTV now automatically creates Streamr sponsorships for live streams.
🔸 Operator nodes running AutoStaker join those streams via the Hub and provide connectivity, improving reliability, especially for globally distributed viewers.
Verify it yourself
🔸 Start a StreamrTV broadcast
🔸 Go live → Settings → Network graph
🔸 Click refresh to watch Operator nodes attach
🔸 Inspect connections via browser WebRTC tools or the live crawler
Why this matters
Live video is now running over the same decentralized pub/sub infrastructure that powers the Streamr Network.
Security remains unchanged
Operator nodes cannot see or inspect your stream. They never receive encryption keys.
Important note
Sponsorships currently support all StreamrTV streams for a limited time.
In the future, this becomes a premium feature funded by subscriptions.
When premium tiers launch, fiat subscription revenue will be used to acquire $DATA to pay for sponsorships.
This lays the groundwork for deeper StreamrTV + Streamr Network integration. More to come!

The AI agent economy is exploding.
OpenClaw hit 100,000+ GitHub stars and pulled ~2M visitors in a week.
But if agents still depend on centralized APIs for live data, the “agent economy” inherits the Web2 tax: throttles, logging, outages, and gatekeepers.
Decentralizing the model isn’t enough. The real bottleneck is the data transport layer.
That’s where Streamr fits: real-time data flow, peer-to-peer, encrypted, no central broker.

Streamr Alpha is live.
We built a serverless, encrypted platform so conversations can happen privately, without relying on central infrastructure that was never designed to protect them.
This is how online communication should work.

In an AI world, privacy without verifiability isn’t enough.
Knowing who’s on the other side matters just as much.
That’s the future @Streamr_App is preparing for.
