As the events in London were kicking off, Brave Patriots of Nuneaton were courageously protecting the town statue.
It’s not a war memorial, or Churchill, it’s author George Elliot, but they went there just in case the Jane Austen Extremists showed up.
Listened to some of that Braverman speech on the radio while driving yesterday. Truly disgraceful and utterly chilling. How has our country got here? 2023/24 feels like a crossroad moment. Trying to have faith that good will prevail. This is not the UK, this is not us.

Sinead O’Connor played Gay Pride in 1988, alongside Erasure, just a month after Section 28 had been passed.
Pride back then was much more of a protest, lesbians and gays were treated as 2nd class citizens.
Performing at Pride was a sign of allyship, when there were few to be had.
