The ambition was to be citizens of the world. The fuel bill has unexpectedly reintroduced them to the delights of tax residence.
I find, the best raconteur’s are those you least expect.
Olivia Colman’s reaction is almost as entertaining as the honeymoon story itself.
Lady Anne Glenconner has lived a life full of experiences that sound unbelievable to people hearing them for the first time. The beauty of a story like this is the contrast: she can describe something extraordinary with complete composure, while everyone around her is struggling to process what they’ve just heard.
That’s what makes The Graham Norton Show such a great setting for these moments. You get the story, the unexpected details, and then the priceless reactions from people who genuinely weren’t prepared for any of it.
Olivia Colman is especially good at letting her face do the talking. She doesn’t need a clever line when her expression says everything.
Some people tell stories to entertain you. Others leave you wondering how they managed to live through them with a straight face.

UK Counter Terrorism Policing chief Laurence Taylor suggests the RAF Fairford suspects were released on bail as part of a tactical move by investigators to collect more evidence, which he says was successful
“We know that decisions made during our investigations can sometimes appear illogical to those on the outside, but I want to make it very clear, that there will always be good reason, or rationale behind them. We will always ensure that, should we identify any ongoing threat, we will manage that as part of the investigation.
“Like our adversaries, our tactics vary – and may not always be obvious.
“In this case, this decision-making has led to swifter progress, better evidence and ultimately us securing the charges I have announced today.
“In sensitive investigations like this, it can take time to convert intelligence, into evidence and that is what scores of my officers and staff have been doing over the last few weeks.”

Please sign up - show the PM we need his support and a fresh review into the cover up of ZD576
Tomorrow is @andyburnham's 100th day as Prime Minister. The Chinook families asked him to meet them before it ended.
On 2nd June 1994, RAF Chinook ZD576 crashed on the Mull of Kintyre, killing all 29 people on board. More than three decades later, their families say they still don’t have answers.
Before he became Prime Minister, Andy Burnham backed their campaign in the House of Commons. The families then asked him to meet them within his first 100 days, and to order a review of the crash that’s independent of the MoD.
In this video, they speak directly to him.
The @chinookjustice campaign group is calling for an independent inquiry and for all documents about the crash to be released. Over 52,000 people have signed their petition.
