The idea that Tugenhat is a centrist is laughable. The One Nation wing of the Tory Party ceased to exist after Johnson's purge. The ECHR exists to protect us from illegal actions by our own government. I would be concerned about the plans of any politician who wants to leave it.

And … the economic damage is not the worst part of Brexit. Speak to anyone involved in the diplomatic world and they will tell you that British influence is severely diminished. And that is a very bad thing indeed in an increasingly unstable world. How anyone in government with half a brain could have advocated this path is beyond me.

Paula Vennells has been stripped of her CBE by King Charles.
But she has kept her £3m bonuses, paid for of course by the tax payer who still own the Post Office.

These attacks on the National Trust by the Telegraph need to be stopped. This must surely now be an issue for the regulator. I hope the NT are considering legal action seeking compensation for the damages done to their reputation.
