‼️ CUSTOMIZE (WAVE 1) FAQ Costume colors are finally coming to #MarvelRivals with tomorrow's patch. I've seen a lot of confusion floating around about this new feature, so here's an FAQ with all the details you need to know. Q: How does this all work in-game? A: If you own, for example, Psylocke's Vengeance skln, when you select it in the Cosmetics tab of the Hero Profile menu, you'll see a new button labelled Customize. Click that and it will take you to a new context menu where you can choose from available color combos — tomorrow, there will be Default and Phantom Purple. You will have to purchase the latter to use it. If you do and then select it, Vengeance will have the Phantom Purple color combo applied everywhere you use it, both in menus and in-game, until such time as you return to the Customize menu and select another color combo. Q: Does this mean I'll be able to change the color of every costume? A: For now, no. Vengeance, Mirae 2099, Blood Soldier, and Punkchild will be the only 4 skins receiving access to the Customize context menu tomorrow. Q: Is it just 1 color combo each? A: For now, yes. This is just Wave 1, so many more skins will be receiving these in future patches, and these 4 skins will eventually receive additional color combos. But tomorrow, only these 4 specific color combos will be available. Q: They're not free? A: Correct, they are not free. Q: Do I need the skin to purchase the color combo? A: Yes. As far as I know, there won't be any way to purchase these 4 color combos without owning their applicable skin first. That could change in the future, but for now, that's how I've been told it works. Q: How much do they cost? A: Full disclosure, it is pulling teeth for me to get pricing information in advance, because things very often change down to the last minute. It's happened before that I've been told a price and they've changed their minds before shipping the relevant patch, and I ended up wrong, and that's not good for anyone. In a very general sense, as far as I know, the price is nominal. Default skin recolors are 600 Units, and I would be surprised if these color combos deviated massively from that price point one way or the other. I will post as soon as I know for sure. Personally, my expectation is around 300-500 Lattice (!), but that's just speculation on my part.
