Before beginning the evacuation from occupied #Oleshky, the Russians staged a "show" for foreign and #Russian media, reports Hromadske.
In a city that had been gripped by a humanitarian catastrophe for months, the streets were suddenly cleaned, trash was removed, curbs were painted, and the bodies of the deceased—which had been left lying haphazardly—were finally collected.
Local residents admit that, given the pervasive chaos and filth, they had not seen Oleshky look this well-maintained in a very long time.
Volunteers and journalists have noted that the bodies of the deceased—which had long been lying out in the open on the streets or in makeshift conditions—are finally being removed from the city. Prior to this, about a hundred bodies—some dating back as far as last winter—were being kept in the basement of the local hospital, creating a persistent, horrific stench.

🔥🛢️A massive Ukrainian drone attack struck the Kstovo oil refinery in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Oblast overnight on November 1.
The Lukoil-owned refinery is one of Russia’s largest, with an annual processing capacity of around 17 million tonnes of crude oil.
The Russian governor said attack involved over 100 drones and caused significant damage to an industrial facility in the area.
