Through continued investment in renewable energy and storage, Masdar is helping build the infrastructure needed to power the digital economy, support long-term growth and advance shared prosperity.

At the UAE-Greece Strategic Forum in Athens, held during the visit to Greece by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, we were honored by the Greek Prime Minister’s recognition of Masdar as a key investment partner in Greece.
As the UAE and Greece mark five decades of diplomatic relations, clean energy is playing an increasingly important role in strengthening economic ties, energy security and shared prosperity.
Our CEO, Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi also met with Stavros Papastavrou, Greece’s Minister of Environment and Energy, alongside Husain Al Meer, Executive Director, Global Offshore Wind and UK, and Aristotelis Chantavas, CEO of TERNA ENERGY, to discuss how we can deepen our cooperation and support the country’s energy ambitions.
Greece is central to Masdar’s European growth strategy. Through TERNA ENERGY, we are combining local expertise with our global capabilities to deliver affordable, reliable clean power and build a leading renewable energy platform across Eastern Europe.

تمثل اليونان سوقاً رئيسية ضمن استراتيجية "مصدر" للتوسع في أوروبا، حيث تعمل عبر "تيرنا إنرجي" على الاستفادة من خبرات السوق المحلية وإمكاناتها العالمية لتوفير طاقة نظيفة وموثوقة بتكلفة مناسبة، وترسيخ مكانتها في قطاع الطاقة المتجددة بشرق أوروبا.

During the visit of HE Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister of Singapore, to the UAE, we were proud to showcase how Masdar’s global expertise in developing clean energy at scale, from the world’s first gigascale round-the-clock renewable project in Abu Dhabi to floating solar plants in Indonesia and Malaysia, can help meet Asia’s growing demand for reliable, affordable power, working alongside governments and local partners.
Masdar also joined a Majlis discussion on how the UAE and Singapore can work together to strengthen energy security across the region to power the Age of Intelligence. The discussion focused on reliable, round-the-clock clean power, cross-border renewable energy supply, and the role of long-term partnerships and investment in meeting Asia’s growing electricity demand.
