Hi #PortfolioDay I'm Helen, I'm a freelance art nouveau artist who loves mythology/folklore, TTRPG, and anime.

Just a reminder you can find me posting regularly on my Bsky, instagram, and tumblr

A Merrow for #mermay

Last day at Sakura Con. I am in the exhibit hall booth 1541

I’m at #C2E2 in artist alley table R-22 towards the very end of the isle. 😊

I am at #planetcomicon this weekend in artist alley table 1642! 😊

“Fever dream in the fairy ring” rough sketch

I think I figured out the piece I’m gonna finish and leave at the artist residency. Jeweled animals are on Brand for my current artistic journey. (And I took a picture of the cute goat they have here and drew him)

Feu Follet It’s boar hunting season here in France and I was thinking about some fae out there in the woods trying to protect the boars and some unfortunate hunter coming across her. So yep that’s the little story I made up while being influenced by my surroundings.

My Merrow she’s done! (Just the lines) I decided I wanted to do the net and scales digitally in color.

Le Cheval Mallet sketch, I love an evil water horse.

Another piece completed. It’s my version of an angel and a chimera, and they are on a journey together

I wanted to make a #werewolf piece

At my artist residency they have all these beautiful tapestries and I just couldn’t stop think of #unicorns and then it just turned into the last unicorn fanart 🤣

This one is hopefully a series of three. I love the different classifications of twilight, so I wanted to do the personification of astronomical twilight. This is the twilight that is closest to night, where the sun is 18 degrees below the horizon line.

I’m so excited I got into Gencon 😭!

First sketch of the year! This January I am chasing a dream I’ve had for a while. I am going to France to go to Château Orquevaux artists and writers residency! You will be seeing a bit more art this month. I can’t wait to go on this adventure, meet other artist and make new art

Thank you for a solid 2024. I cannot wait to make more artwork and meet new people in 2025.

Last event for the year! I’ll be at the convention center in Pdx for crafty wonderland from 10am-5pm sat and Sunday. 😁 I’m isle 5 table 100

I finished coloring him! And it’s up on my e*sy 👀 (link in bio)
