The MSP SERT successfully located a missing 4-year-old child who had wandered away from his home in Southampton on October 8.
The child was reported missing along with two dogs at approximately 11:10 a.m., prompting an immediate response by SERT team members.

Today, the Massachusetts State Police, in partnership with the U.S. Marshals Service, NYPD and Lynn Police Department, apprehended two men wanted in connection with the attempted murder of an off-duty New York Police Department detective in the Bronx.

This week, Father James S. Mazzone of the Massachusetts State Police Chaplain Corps bestowed a blessing upon the horses of the MSP Mounted Unit.
The MSP Mounted Unit maintains a stable of specially trained horses for use in patrol of state parks, beaches, and reservations.

More than 20 kilos of suspected fentanyl were seized in Lawrence.
An MSP-led investigation resulted in an arrest and the seizure of suspected fentanyl and approximately $42,000 in cash.
