I also don't like the #Goog chart here.
May end up like FB.
Are you ready to meet $GOOGL at $275?
Earnings on Oct 28. Probably strong numbers.
So were Meta's. The stock fell ~8%.
Alphabet reports with the same AI capex questions and a death cross on the chart.
📉 Price lost the $340-350 zone, which is now resistance
📉 Death cross just printed: the 50 MA slipped under the 200 MA
📉 Next real support is the $275 range low, about 14% below $320
Will you buy $GOOGL after earnings?
🟢 Yes, on the dip
🔴 No, too risky
It's going to be a volatile night.
The $QQQ is up almost 1%.
But if they take some profit again then most tech stocks will follow off highs.
I'm not surprised that $INTC fell off highs.
This is usually the case overnight.
Stocks fall back all the time.
Not good to chase because they always come back to you.
You make money buying the pull backs and then taking profits not chasing moves higher.
I sold $INTC at $66.77.
Just bought it back here. $66 09.
So no one wanted to buy on Friday.
No one wanted to buy after hours.
Now at the start of overnight here everyone wants to buy and that's how the game works.
I just bought at 8:00 pm and I'm up a $1.00 a share on 500 shares.
I could of bought and held it much cheaper after hours on Friday because it was actually down $1.00 a share from closing price. But no one was buying after hours so I was afraid in case we opened lower.
They like to spike $NVDA down after the opening bell then bring it right back up again.
They do that very fast in a flash to take out stop losses and confuse traders.
After hours can be tricky trading because of the volatility.
You think a stock looks strong then they take it down.
You sell and they take it right back up again.
There could also be a fake drop on $NVDA and the Tech stocks after the bell on Margin calls from Friday's drops.
But I'm liking what I see in the market so far so right now I'm optimistic about the close Monday.
During the worst Novembers in history like 1929, 2000 & 2008 the Market was only down 7%.
So that's your risk.
November is usually a good month for stocks and most bad November bad months are only down a bit.
Could a bust in the #AI Bubble this Nov be like November 2000 (−8.01%): This drop was fueled by the bursting of the Dot-com bubble, as heavily overvalued tech stocks collapsed and dragged the broader indices down with them.
The only way we can have a big drop in November is if we have an #AI crash similar to the Internet Bubble crash of 2000.
