Ok, super simple: Right now, Bitcoin uses special math "signatures" to prove you own your coins. Quantum computers (future super powerful ones) might crack those. This is a new, safer signature called SHRIMPS. It's like a tiny digital proof (only 2.5 KB big) that works even if you use the same wallet seed on your phone, laptop, etc. Old version only worked on one device. This fixes that for multi-device use, and it's way smaller than other quantum-safe options. Basically: prepping Bitcoin for quantum-proof future.
