Man Downs is a good player but he genuinely just doesn’t fix what KC does and the log jam at slot already too many guys want to be in the middle of the field it’s not ideal I doubt KC would try to make time for Downs to be the primary guy out of that group either they always love defaulting to guys that “know the system”

Yup that’s exactly why I think even getting guys at WR isn’t gonna fix this offense we just don’t run the concepts for guys to even do this it’s a spacing catch and run type of offense it’s not built for true route winners

@FLY_LIBRA183h
My thing is, when do the Chiefs ever allow they WRs to run these type routes except for Kelce.

Omar Cooper Jr. has now recorded 100+ yards and a TD in both games since returning from injury. 5 REC, 115 REC YDS, 1 TD vs Dolphins Despite missing four games, could Cooper still play his way into the OROY conversation?

Wouldn’t completely solve our problem at WR considering we really need an outside threat but he would give us a consistent target on 3rd down and man beater. We’ve struggled on 3rd downs this year

Who’s winning on 3rd down? Drake London 👑

Hollywood and MVS wouldnt be terrible cheap additions. Its better than sending a 2nd for someone we cant resign next year. We need a place holder and deep "threats".

Please trade him lmao
🇺🇸@TexastwosteppOct 26
The Chiefs need to trade Mahomes before the rest of the NFL realizes they’d be paying for a name, not the player he is today. His reputation is still elite. His play isn’t. Kansas City has a chance to fleece a franchise before his trade value catches up to reality. #Chiefskingdom

There’s no lack of talent but you guys still refuse to name the Chiefs current top 3 WRs why is that?
Stats
@NFLSTATISTICOct 26
There is no “MASSIVE” lack of talent. There is the reigning SB MVP, who despite having 36 yards last night, is only 3 behind Bijan and has played one less game. He is an ELITE weapon Kelce is older, yes, and is 4th in TE YPG. This is what an AVERAGE offense looks like.

The excuse is “he doesn’t know the plays” but he’s better than the guys who “know” the plays

Rookie WRs averaging over 1.5 yards per route run. A mix of the stable season-long starters and some small-sample-size wonders.

I genuinely think the Tyquan injury killed our season the holes in the WR core was always there but losing him was genuinely a gut punch it too us from taking a step in the right direction to back where we were before

Trade: The #Colts are sending eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the #Seahawks, per @AdamSchefter and me. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency. A Colts legend goes to the champs.

Ace Bailey hooping like a vet… 13.0-62.3 TS%-8.5 REB-1.8 BLK Commitment to his role, especially the defensive end is beautiful. Genuinely imposing weakside, transition, and 1v1 shot blocker. Silky shotmaking. Hitting glass. Vertical spacing. Mature ball
