LASTLY: Let’s assume that you’re right and everyone will eventually get it. BUT… we can mitigate that or “somewhat delay” (to use your words) when they get it. We know that some of the people who get it will be hospitalized...

And some will have long term impacts to their health And some will die… Shouldn’t we want to “somewhat delay” all of those things? Wouldn't they? If, to them, the efforts to do so aren’t “heroic” (a subjective term), what's the argument for not explaining their options?
