Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and @rapsheet. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency. But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks.

Silver lining: Anyone in KC would have taken 5-1 to start the season back in August. Gotta love where they sit after 7 weeks. The other side of the coin: Championship aspirations took a real kick to the groin. Roster is way too thin at key spots to take things over the top.

That was certainly one half of football. All the Chiefs issues on display. No pass rush, pass defense from the slot, run blocking against a great front, identity when the run game isn't working and the RB can't make everything right, guys getting open, QB pressing when he feels like nothing else is working, missed FG (yes that was a longer one)
