Hold your breath.
Terrifying situation as a Waymo decides to drive around a railroad crossing arm while the train approaches.
The passenger escaped the vehicle (off camera). That’s the man wearing the backpack (we have been told).
Once the train finally passed, the Waymo just had to complete the process of challenging cross traffic to a head on collision.

Unpopular opinion: Nike made the right call.
In 2004, Nike SB was on the front edge of a wave by reaching out to people like Nicky to collab. It was still early and ahead of the crest to bring the Dunk in 2005.
I've been thinking about the whole Nike not wanting retro Diamond Supply SB and this encapsulates everything wrong with pop cultures obession with nostalgia.
People have to learn to move on and stop clinging to the past.
Diamond SBs were fire. One of the best SBs of all time. But that was 20 years ago. Leave them there. We don't need a retro. Stop tryna recapture the moment.
It's the same problem I have with Jeff Staples. If your claim to fame is all you can reference you need to stop. Every one of their dunks is a pigeon or remix of the diamond.
The highs and pack they did were cool. That's enough. The world doesn't need the same concept over and over. Make something new.
It's exhausting seeing all these old heads trying to pop up again over their decades old work.
I love the past but we gotta move forward.
Twenty years later, yes, that shoe holds an insane amount of historic significance to Nike SB and to Diamond, but Nike is better served pouring resources and pointing the conversation towards the next wave rather than one of the past.
The silhouette and style of choice is impacted by pants way more than most recognize.
Brands study the hell out of fashion trends and forecasting on pant legs/materials when planning the line.

NOT AT CHILI’S BABY
10.99 for a burger with fries, bottomless chips and salsa and unlimited drink.
Prices in the US have absolutely lost the plot.
$20 for a burger and fries
$4.37 a gallon for gas
$80+ for a driving lesson
$3+ for a bottle of soda
$25-$30 for a basic takeout meal
$30+ for a short Uber ride
$150+ a week for groceries for one person
$170+ a night for a “cheap” hotel
Rent prices through the roof
Everything costs more and somehow wages never seem to catch up.
At this point we’re just getting robbed.

Nike was the coolest brand of the 90s. And none of it had to do with resale and rare shoes. They built a feeling around owning a pair of Nikes regardless of what pair it was. Seeing some fresh Nikes on some one's feet was always special. Alot of yall arent old enough to remember

Don't use Nike's stock dropping as a reason to prop up the "importance" of resellers. I don't know how many times this has to be repeated, but the things we lust over on a weekly basis are not what keeps the lights on in Beaverton.

Nike CEO Elliott Hill says Caitlin Clark’s Nike sneaker is the largest women’s signature shoe launch in Nike history 😳📈
"Today, we activated the largest women's signature shoe launch in Nike's history: the Caitlin 1. It will launch in 5,000 doors. Twice the average for a Nike basketball signature shoe. Supported by our largest Nike product campaign for the holiday season."

An apartment in Austin is now more affordable than the median US apartment.
It’s incredible what can happen when you build housing.
Played little league with Clifton and this dude went two straight seasons without getting caught stealing.
Will never forget he got walked and stole second on the live ball. Next pitch stole third. The pitch after that gets past the catcher and he stole home.

The first time I ever touched a ball in a college football game was at Rice and I took the punt 67 yards on that hard ass Carpet that they called turf! Even though i’m rooting for number 19 Jordan Clark “My little cousin for Rice” my Dogs are about to go eat #BeatRice

🇺🇸 Meet H.S. footballer Wesly Lowery, who asked his friend since first grade, Nevaeh Hall, to homecoming.
Nevaeh has Down syndrome, and Wesly is the team's quarterback... but they couldn't care less what anyone thinks about their uncommon coupling!
This makes my heart happy and gives me a remaining shred of faith in humanity! ❤️
