Honestly, this isn’t the worst strategy…
Police in Bremen, Germany, have sparked controversy after confirming that officers teach women to induce vomiting as a possible way to deter a rapist during a sexual assault. Germany recorded 14,454 cases of rape, sexual coercion and particularly serious sexual assault in 2025, an 8.5% increase from the previous year. According to the Federal Criminal Police Office, 38.5% of identified rape suspects were non-German nationals. In 2025, Germany also recorded 751 cases classified as group rapes, with non-German nationals accounting for 53% of suspects.

I genuinely feel bad for her. She never should have been torn away from her natural homeland and her own people and thrown into a strange land filled with people who are not like her. Multiculturalism is, first and foremost, a cruelty inflicted on people like her. Her parents, who were already fully formed as adults when they made the move, may not have been much affected by it. But the children of immigrants inevitably have a very different experience. It’s not surprising that mental illness should be rampant among them.

"To put Greek and Latin poetry together and call them 'classical literature' is a proof of incredible barbarism in taste and of a regrettable ignorance of the essence and value of the art of genius. Whenever Roman poetry attempts the sublime, as in Virgil and Ovid, it clings with a correct sense of its own hopeless unoriginality as slavishly as possible to Hellenic models. As Treitschke says, 'Roman literature is Greek literature written in Latin.'" "The Romans were great builders--of sewers and aqueducts magnificent painters--or room-decorations; great manufacturers--of objects belonging to the industrial arts; in their circuses, masters of the art of fighting fought for money and professional charioteers drove on the racecourse. The Roman could be a virtuoso, not an artist; all virtuosity interested him, but no art." Houston Stewart Chamberlain, /The Foundations of the Nineteenth Century/

It’s rather bizarre that there had been so much hype over developing a “cure for cancer” for the last several generations when gains to life expectancy from success would be so modest:
Cure cancer completely and average lifespan goes up about 3 years. Three. Not because cancer is not brutal. It is because something else is already waiting behind it. That is the part most people miss. The diseases show up late. *Aging* is the process running underneath all of them. Go after the hallmarks of aging and you are not preventing one disease. You are delaying the whole queue. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/article…

“If the Bedouin of the desert chooses a settled life, he, as a rule, unites in himself all the vices of the nomad and of the peasant. Lazy, deceitful, cruel, greedy, cowardly, he is rightly regarded by all nations as the scum of mankind.”—Archibald Henry Sayce, /The Races of the Old Testament/

With all these oil tankers being blown up in the Strait of Hormuz and Persian Gulf, there must be an absolutely epic oil slick, the equivalent of dozens of Exxon-Valdez spills, right? Why haven’t we heard anything about this?
BREAKING: An oil tanker has been struck off the coast of Saudi Arabia near Kuwait

The Star Wars story accidentally contains the seeds of this transcendence btw. The galaxy is not saved when Luke conquers his hate and becomes a pacifist. The galaxy is saved when Vader turns his hate towards the Emperor and kills him out of love for his son.
Yes, Star Wars at its most mythopoetic would have transcended both the Jedi and the Sith. Luke would have gone through the Freudian integration of the id and superego by the ego, becoming the kind of man Nietzsche called a “Caesar with the soul of Christ.” This is what the final trilogy ought to have been. Unfortunately for us, no one (and especially not George Lucas) has any idea what that man would be like.

This is an important insight:
The White underclass is a miracle, and probably why the West has succeeded. Thomas Frank wrote “What’s the Matter with Kansas” to explore why poor Whites don’t vote for socialist policies that would (narrowly, in the short-term) benefit them. Of course he concluded it was about racism, as he was predetermined to do by his ideology. But I actually think he highlighted an incredibly important fact: poor White Americans, uniquely among underclasses globally, don’t vote for socialism. The typical dynamic is rich people trying to keep what they have and poor people trying to take it. But the American lower-class White does not behave this way, because he has a deontological aversion to government interference. The collection of attitudes and beliefs described as “rugged individualism” are often assessed in terms of how they impact the individual, but I think it’s much more important to consider how they impact a nation. (White) America has the world’s least resentful or grasping underclass. This is a treasure. They should be preserved and rewarded. Many might be net-negative fiscally in a narrow sense, but they are hugely net-positive if you consider their votes. Trump famously said “I love the poorly educated.” He was right to say this. Every nation has an elite. No other nation has such a high quality of virtuous common people.

The ironic thing about this visit liberals tend to most likely to be discontented with the sort of shallow, mass market culture they racial and cultural mixing inevitably produces, yet are the most fervent supporters of the policies that give rise to it. It’s people on the right who are the most dedicated enthusiasts of American culture. (See, eg. Cheesecake Factory.) There potency in this. Liberals need to be shown the cultural consequences of mass immigration. Opponents of the latter need to incorporate this into their propaganda.
America has been a fascinating laboratory experiment on the effects of cultural and racial mixture. The main mechanism of mixing has not been, as many of you reading this will assume I'm referring to, the mixture of blacks and whites. Rather it is the mixture of different groups of Europeans. Blacks and whites tend to live in separate communities; hence their influence on each other has been limited. Different European races, on the other hand, have been sufficiently similar to each other that they have integrated into the same communities and dissolved into each other's culture. (NB: I will be using "race" here to denote a mixture of the genetic and cultural influences that give a people a distinctive character; I am not using the word in the narrow genetic sense.) By mixing English, Scots, Germans, Italians, Poles, etc., in one melting pot, the distinctive elements of each were lost, and the resulting cultural residue is essentially the lowest common denominator of all--the sort of phenomena that can easily appeal to, or be adopted by, people of all backgrounds and all walks of life. What we know as "American culture" is exactly this: the food that everyone likes, the music that everyone can listen to, the movies and television that everyone can relate to, the vocabulary and accent that everyone can understand. It's for this very reason that American culture has conquered the world--its music, its cinema, its fast food, its fashions, etc. A random person from the slums of Lagos or the favelas of Sao Paolo can appreciate and adopt all of the elements of "American culture" without any friction or effort. It's the most perfectly designed vehicle of globalization and of mass consumerism, which is why the two things--American culture and consumerism--are so closely linked together. As a culture, however, it is profoundly impoverished. The same simplicity and ease of acquisition that make it universal also cheapen it and render it artistically and spiritually shallow and lifeless. To hold up American culture beside French, German, English, or Japanese culture is to do an injustice to the latter--it does not even belong in the same category; it's like comparing the instinctive, animal pleasures of sexual intercourse with the pictorial art of the Italian Renaissance. The American cultural experience gives us a foretaste of what we can expect anywhere and everywhere that racial and cultural mixing occurs on a wide scale: all distinctive national cultural phenomena will disappear and be replaced by a rudimentary, lowest-common-denominator, homogenized, globalized, consumerized cultural pablum that lends itself well to corporate profits and economies of scale but has no other redeeming features and ultimately reduces people to a spiritually and socially starved condition.

Amazing. My opinion of French post-modernist thought has been entirely transformed:

The demonization of memorization is one of the top ~3 reasons that we have become retarded as a society. Memorization is like pumping iron for your brain and you inevitably also come to understand/internalize what you memorize. It shouldn’t be limited to vocabulary and times tables either. It should be poems in foreign languages, the ability to trace maps by hand from memory, timelines and dates, etc.
Memorization has an unfairly negative reputation. I recently spent a few hours memorizing the names of all the countries in the world and it's such a clear improvement in how well I can understand and reason about other topics. Memorization is scaffolding for more complex ideas

The great American tradeoff is that you get material abundance in exchange for cultural impoverishment. The great Canadian tradeoff is that you get neither.

Does anybody realize how grotesque this is or on how many levels? Mind boggling.

When I was growing up, Australia didn't have Africans macheting people to death, carjacking them, breaking into their homes. Crazy how much things change with mass immigration. 🙃

We should throw a public funeral for her face:
To give Lawrence credit, in a new interview with the Cut she ’fesses up to a breast enlargement and goes on to list her plans for the future, including a facelift and buccal fat removal. She already uses “baby Botox” but avoids fillers as they hinder the facial movement, which has traditionally been associated with acting. She has brought the same plain dealer attitude to having her face mucked about with that she previously brought to getting drunk and falling over, in a world where other Jennifers as different as Aniston and Lopez deny point blank that they have ever dabbled in cosmetic surgery and that their youthful looks are down to sleep and water. Surely we should admire this consistency, this character? ✍️ @BoozeAndFagz Article: spectator.com/article/rip-je…
