Seeing the first signs of root development just one week after installation is a great reminder of how much preparation goes into a new pitch. At Allianz Stadium, the process began with quality control at the turf farm, followed by installation using Hatko’s carpet system. Early establishment is now underway, supported by balanced nutrition and targeted solutions from the Agrovista Export team. The wider project is just as exciting: a data-led approach to pitch management, with an under-pitch system designed to store 1.4 million litres of water and expected to reduce mains water use by around 80%. Proud to be part of the journey and grateful to everyone sharing their expertise along the way. There’s a lot to learn as the pitch develops, and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next. Superb from Jim Buttar and his team 🙌🌱🚜
